the um and i spotted a gingerbread chalet kit in the shops the other day. as i have no cookie cutters, and all my ingredients are packed in storage still, i admit i'm very very tempted. the candy selection is piss poor, but we've found a few good candy shops in adelaide today. we'll add heaps more and then it'll look good!

when you planning on finishing and displaying the house?

(and it always tastes better the longer you can store it anyways)

I hope to finish it this weekend.  I am going to use the weather as an excuse not to go anywhere.

And I have no idea where I shall display it. 

The large licorace was not working for roof trim, so I bought pretzel sticks.  I hope those work better.  And I have the cookie dough to try and make the windows.  Just need time.

*yawns, stretches, slowly wakes up. sees the outline of Bounty's bed with many bodies in it. pads softly over to the bottom of the bed, sees Bounty in the middle between furry bodies and sleek bodies, and crawls under the blankets and carefully make my way up his body. stopping here.... and there.... to rub and lick. then settles on his chest and just 'looks' at him, and when he doesn't wake up, licks his cheek. then his mouth, then when he STILL doesn't wake up, digs claws in until there is movement.*

*growl* gets up and makes porridge for 9. then sees the bacon and fries that up crispy. then sees a waffle maker and makes up twice as much as is needed. finishes the last of the coffee and "forgets"to make more of that.
Bounty, you need to run down tot he shops for strawberries and some cream to go with the waffles. right ladies? *hehe*
