I also have to congrates anyone on the will power to bing such a topic into the publics eye. Being a member of many Gay/lezbian groups, i have found so little people who have the curage to try and inform the public about diffrent views, and lifestyles that are all around us. So congrates on being a leader, you help inspire alot of people, to do what they're heart desires.

It's a calling. One doesn't get much choice. Sorta like Saint Augustine is supposed to have said to god.... "You want me to do WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Still, I've found that most are unwilling to vent their full speen upon a living, breathing person. They reserve that for the shadowy "perverts" they don't have to face.

when John Warren asks me for my account numbers or if I would like to be the subject of his next flogging demo (shhhh! a girl can dream can't she?) I will certainly do alot more checking at that point.

And you'd be a lot safer giving him account numbers and other personal information than you would by letting him know you have a fear of spiders or something like that. Just hit this link to see for yourself.

John Warren thread.... ok, I'm not surprised...... what is my two cents again? uhmmm....

Oh yea... when I read your book... The Loving Dominant.... wow..... I was mezmerized....

thank you, Mr. Warren, for the months of hot sex fantasies that your book provided....

*smile....

I have to say that you were perfect... but there were 2 things that got me.... the spiders in the jar trick.... and the knife "fooled ya" trick...... no way... couldn't handle that....

by the way.... you are a very handsome man and the woman who is in your pic... TOPS.

imtempting -> RE: Another wise man in our midst, Mr. John Warren (8/14/2005 4:25:52 AM)

Im sorry i still cant just fall head over heels for someone on the net becuase they are meant to be a writer. This makes me think of the fakes thread.

Can someone give me more then a web link to his home site to proove who he is?

Some people have said they talked to him. Is this on the net or in real life? If it is in real life and you asked him on the net did he need to re-fresh his memory as where you spoke and what over etc??

It just appears people seem to be giving him alot of credit and more then likely giving out alot of email address. What happens if he is not who he says.

zaynab -> RE: Another wise man in our midst, Mr. John Warren (8/14/2005 4:47:50 AM)

Imtempting.....

relax.....

who cares?

most of the people you talk to on here... are not who they say they are....

just a tip from a friend.... *smile ~ zay

Its simple... if he is indeed John Warren, and there's no good reason to suspect he isn't, then we have another very knowledgeable and experienced voice among us. That's a good thing. If it turns out that he actually isn't John Warren and is really just a poser... we have a BBQ. Simple. Time will usually make the truth self evident.

The woman is Libby,my wife, partner and best friend, who wrote the section about a woman talking about submission. We've been together 12 years and she's directly responsible for Loving Dominant being written because of her encouragement.

It was wasps [evil grin] in the jar. Don't worry about "not being able to take it." Mindfucks work only with a very narrow segment of the population, people who love fear. A dom trying it with people who don't is likely to end up alone... and maybe bent over clutching his balls if he's a guy.

I truely do hope that the months of hot sex fantasies led to a lot of hot
SEX too [leer] but in any case, thank you for the compliment. Stirring up imaginations was one of my major goals

Well of course if that happens we will go to the Internet Police and have them issue a cyber warrant and have him online arrested for impersonating a pervert.

Come on, he is just like every other poster here in the sense that if he should write something that you personally find useful, use it....and if what he writes here is of no value to you then just discard it. Those same rules apply.

mnottertail -> RE: Another wise man in our midst, Mr. John Warren (8/14/2005 6:40:00 AM)

You just gotta love this stuff.............
I will paraphrase Sean Connery in the movie The Untouchables.
"Who but John Warren would say they are John Warren?"

Well in the end result independant verification by looking at a link or getting an e-mail addy would be still dubious proof to many. He has offered an address if you write him to which you can send a book to be autographed. Perhaps you could buy a copy, wrap yourself in a box ship yorself to that address (probably a P.O. box) and whoever opens it, especially if he or she looks like the picture........ You could then say "Please, Mr or Mrs Warren (as the case may be), would you give me the ass-whipping of my life so I know it's really you?".

Just musing,
Ron

Dude, relax! Aren't you a little young to be so cynical?
He's not asking for your money or home address, why do you care this much? M

Sir, do I have to pay more for the book since I used your line in my profile "loving dominant."?[;)]

Now you may just have the perfect solution to end this debate! I like this idea so much I will even volunteer to be the one to get that ass whipping <weg>. I promise that as soon as I can mop myself back up off of the floor afterward I will come back and let you all know what I learned. Ah, as I said before....a girl can dream can't she?

Can I come watch? I'd love to learn the perfect ass whipping from an old pro. [8D]M

Differance is im not claiming to be a writer of a popular book. So its not the same rules.

Well John Warren you said to me before about posting a never before seen pic. Well why not change something on your home page?

[grin] You'd have to take that up with Janet Hardy. She makes most of the money off the books anyway

what I can't figure out (and perhaps I shouldn't have used the term bizarre in my earlier post), is why such vocal suspicion? Unless you are looking to play with him, or he has somehow indicated to you that he's looking to play with you - then what's the big deal that one can't take a "wait and see" attitude? I haven't noticed others receiving that kind of reception when they first start posting here.

although I haven't made a formal welcome to MR. John Warren as of yet...I was just waiting and reading the posts since his arrival in the forums...liken it to going into a calm sea...falling overboard and ...BAM...shark infested waters...just hope you don't resemble the next meal before you get safely back aboard...I know...we all have our opinions and want to express them...but it's in how we arrange the words before letting them out...and no I'm not writting another book...

Master is right, yall are freaks <sticks out tongue> i will dub myself collarme's best skeptic and i've read the thread and saw other ppl's testimony (please raise your right hand) that its him. Logic being, some one that we "know" on collarme, wouldnt go saying its him for the kicks of it (unless it was me). They gain nothing from it. A couple of ppl checked him out, i doubt we have a conspiracy here.

Mr John Warren i've never read your book, any of them really. BUT i have one question. Do ya know how to fix web broswers? Mines gone alllllllllllllll haywire.

Geek stuff is Libby's domain. I _used to be_ a "computer expert" (my first one was an Altair and I programmed in 8080 assembler) but when I went away to get my doctorate I didn't have time to keep up with the field and after four years I was horrified to discover I couldn't even READ articles in the magazines I'd been writing for. I've never managed to catch up. Libby, on the other hand, took a copy of the TKL manual to read on vacation.

No one is expecting you to. Stop being such a tool.

I've know John and Libby since our days on a little BBS called 'FR.' He is who he says he is. Give it a rest already.

Of course he is...but when a bigger fish shows up in your pond, some simply have to questions the color of the scales.
