I'd like to second what Lashra said. I knew I was interested in sensual violence at the age of 5, long before I felt sexual about anything. My interests in power exchange and sex are related but not the same. Two quick examples: these are both ladies I've met in person, and we first corresponded via CollarMe in 2007. #1: I bought her lunch, and by the end of it I knew I was not sexually attracted to her but would enjoy Topping her, but she was both interested in being Topped and sexually attracted to me. I am left wondering if this question is about Mistresses he's met online or in person and how long did he know all these Mistresses that keep denying him. It seems to me that men in general are more likely to be respectful to a woman if they want her but cannot have her. After they've had her, then their desire to please her lessens, because they're already conquered that territory. This isn't all men or all situations, of course - but it seems the flowers always stop after the legs are spread.

Hmmm very many different view points. It is all up to the individual Domme and what she wishes to do with her male slave. Logically, the person you want to have sex with has to want to have sex with you. So, logically, you have to do something in order to deserve that sex.
