Next time this comes up, we should all just wait for LA and her magic macro to take care of it...

Dead Can Dance
Delerium
Michael Stearns

And listen to "Music From the Hearts of Space" on NPR... if you want mellow and ethereal... they're it! You can also access their archive online.

I really like my music to flow, jumpy song changes just really mucks things up.  Have you thought about gregorian chanting? I love having the ominous chanting in the background while Im tying her up; really sets the mood. We dont talk while its playing, dont need to, and the music for me especially really intensifies everything. In no particular order....
Massive Attack
Tricky
Bjork (they do a song called black coffee, just sayin....)
Placebo
Portishead
Schpongle
Paatos
Azam Ali (think 300 soundtrack, my new favorite right now! look for spring arrives, i think its called)
Kruder and Dorfmeister
Aphex twins
Juno Reactor
Dave Matthews When the World Ends Paul Oakenfold remix
Era
Tool
Lamb
Theivery corporation
The Sins of thy beloved
Matt Pond PA
Heavens
Nine Black Alps
Mazzy Starr
Mirwais
Hooverphonic
Niyaz
Muse
Delerium

If you want specific songs, PM me and I could go on for days. Try pandora, just put in an artist and thumbs up or down what suits you and hit limewire with you findings
Hope this helps[sm=banana.gif]

Native American  or Japanese (Kodo) drumming.  It's got a great beat and you can really flog to it.

Also Enigma, some Sarah McLachlan, some Stevie Nicks, and some selections from the Looney Tunes soundtracks.  :)

Enya gets my vote.  I love her haunting voice and it really helps me slide into sub space.

bananas in pajamas are marching down the stairs, bananas in pajamas are playing with teddy bears.....

I still think about what the reactions to an ohmibod and a bunch of blue man group would be.  Have to use two floggers and a florentine kata to keep up with the beat.
