I guess what I'm getting at is, most of the fakes are on the girl side, and it's annoying. Cme could end all that by taking a CC number at registration that they won't charge to unless authorised as age and identity verification. Do you think it's worth the decrease in traffic? I'm required to give a CC# for lots of more trivial nonsense, (around here when you fill out a renters app they want to know how many times you think bad thoughts a week.) What are the limitations of taking that kind of age verification and still leaving Cme free? (although if you haven't already donated I highly encourage you to help this site.)

Yeah...men bitch about the profiles that don't actually have someone behind them. Women bitch about the profiles of men who don't actually have anything between their ears.

This sort of thing was what VerifiedBDSM was for...prove your age and gender...

But some of the truth lies in the fact that if you removed all of the fakes, posers, double (triple and more) profilers, we could fit all of the collar me members in a small room. (Yes, I am exagerating just a bit. *smile*)

Sites like this one actually thrive on the fakes...it keeps the men around. If they knew how few hot babes really were looking for Masters, they would pick another way to score some easy sex.

Seriously, the best way to find someone is to go out of the house. This woman I was talking to this weekend, we're flirting and laughing and doing the normal "I kind of want to jump you but society doesnt allow me to say that for another three dates" thing, when she asked me if I have a girl friend or was I single. And so I told her about how I wasn't single but Instead of hedging around the point I just said more or less, nope I've got a couple slave girls at home. We could go have some french toast if you want to meet them. Instead of bolting she just got more curious.

But anyway, what you are saying doesn't jive. Why would we need all the traffic from men and fakes? This isn't an ad supported site is it? (if it is my pop up blocker rules the internet) . Do we really care so much that there aren't thousands of hot girls who kind of look like they got clipped out of maxim just waiting to be owned or are we hoping to get a little more anonymity among all these 'frontis pieces'?

Well, I imagine the model we are seeing at work here is get the traffic, figure out how to make money off of it later.

This site isn't a charity case, or is it? Not sure...anyway, someone wants traffic, or they wouldn't have put the site up, and invested the time and energy into constantly improving it. Harem? I must protest!

Actually im working out a very long contract (which you would love) which partially emancipates one of the girls so she can stretch her Mistress legs. Its a very convoluted story. I do want to have at least two girls in the house but essentially 'fate' served well and tried to train herself up in a sort of old gaurd style, (learning to top as a bottom) and she eventually had to be released from full bondage to do that. Any new girl will probably be hers as a primary. Its funny how dry this explanation sounds when written in the context of this board. The few friends I've let in on the story from the vanilla world can't seem to get enough of it. If I spent less time goofing on this board and more time writing the journal of whats going on here I'd refer you to the blog Im trying to put up about it.

Anyway.. fine. cme wants to generate the traffic then pitch that to the ad guys. That makes sense. I just wish I had more time to search for interesting people here just to form a network.

I don't think there are close to as many fakes out there as people think. What I think is that there are a lot of people that want to think that, because they are not getting what they want, or don't get the response they expect to get.

I just had an incident in the last 30 minutes that clearly illustrates why I feel this way.

I got an email from someone that just read my all new profile, who said I must be majoring in collarme, since I'm obviously here online and not in class ... an obvious insinuation.

I responded that before making that insinuation/accusation a person might be well served to check the class schedules on the internet, and find out when classes actually start (September 5th, to save everyone some time).

The response was ... that my response was rude, and that I'm obviously a player.

Trust me, if you actually choose to answer first emails, you will have this happen to you about every three or four days. You will be a faker because you don't have a picture ... you will be a faker because you do ... you will be a faker if you are even the least bit attractive ... you will be a faker is you're not ... you will be a faker if you are old ... a faker if you are young ... and my latest greatest ... a faker, because I can actually spell and make a post that people can read. Ok ... it's called High School English, and excuse me for paying attention!!!

Well, this concludes my rant ... and I hope Taggard and Librarian take it as a flame, because this thread sure got boring all the sudden.

1. September 5th is Labor Day. You are obviously a faker or anti-union.

2. You misused "your" for the contraction "you're" (you are). You are obviously a faker or you nodded off at several points during that prized high school english class (I can sympathize... my nickname was "whiplash"... you make the connection).

3. You do not fall within the bell curve of mediocrity. Those that dare to be different must surely be fake.

I hope this was a useful lesson in how to spot a fake (isn't this fun... just like a cyber game of "pin the tail on the donkey").

MzB has been in contact with us. She wants us to be guests on her show prior to Folsom. We're looking forward to it very much!

This weekend we finally got our "dungeon room" ready for equipment. Got all the un-lifestyle stuff out and put the first few huge eye bolts into the ceiling beam! Then, being old, was too tired to use it last night. Does that make me a fake? (trying to keep the thread going!)

Having the pleasure of seeing Taggard and his SO in person at the first CM get together in Vegas - we'll attest he's real. A big part of my criteria was that he showed up! There were others who said they would and just disappeared - without a word. But there is/was much more then showing up.

Taggard and I are about as different as two people can be in the lifestyle. He is not into any kind of "impact" session and I need to inflict a daily dose. Agreeing to disagree is just as good conversation as agreeing. What he is, is confident and secure in what he is. Enough to accept challenge, stand behind his position, and not feel compelled to have to convince you to agree in order to hang out with him or be his friend. We had a GREAT time together, even if us "older folks" went the distance and he was napping the 2nd night in Vegas! At our party I even trusted him enough to use beth as a canvas for his "wax - art".

Ah but John ... had you checked out the website, you would have noted that Freshmen have a required event on Setptember 5th, called "Owl Camp". Since you didn't check the website, you must be a faker.

Also, I can't help notice you still use cap's in your name ... when we all know that Lady Angelika took you as her lil rover in another thread ... again, clearly a faker.

"Less" fake is a relative term. Without a barcode, you simply won't scan at the checkout counter (we still buy and sell our slaves at auctions... right?).
