(Weltwoche, Zurich, Issue 29/2004) Thanks for posting this Z - very interesting to be honest, if baffling. I have a copy of Mein Kampf here that I bought ten years ago. I thought it would be an interesting read and perhaps shed some light on things in one of my main areas of interest WWII. I have to confess, I have read only about the first twenty pages since I bought it - and that was an effort, despite my interest. It is the biggest load of absolute shite I think I have ever come across. The subject matter could be interesting debate material - except that really there is no debate to be had. The repetition of the exact same material on every other page is irritating to say the least - it does not develop a theme or an argument but simply states conclusions. And worst of all, it is written in the most abysmally poor expression, rendering it of interest for a full reading only to those for whom a full acquaintance is some sort of mark of distinction. My copy is an English translation incidentally. I also tried it in the original German - which was a worse experience. Quite why anyone might think it a worthwhile read on which to spend their time is beyond me. E
