Speaking as a person who assists in the management of a call centre for a living... REPORT THEM. PLEASE. The laws are there for good reason, and despite the stereotype the truth is that most of the people I've met in telecommunications understand that annoying someone doesn't make them buy from you. Most of the people I know who perform telephone solicitations who appreciate their job will not harass a customer. However, you get kids working a summer job, or who have personal issues, that slip through the cracks or are given a chance when they shouldn't be. Perhaps that's just a Canadian perspective, but any -good- telemarketer I've worked with can see the situation from the perspective of those they call, and recognize the futility of disrespecting a customer. I've disciplined representatives whom I caught being disrespectful to potential consumers, and helped a few more out the door when they are stupid enough to ignore something as basic as DNC - Do Not Call. A few of us on the "Dark Side" appreciate your viewpoint, pahunkboy.
