This is something that I found and absolute had to share with you guys. What do you think?

How do I become a slave?

So, you are convinced that you truly, honestly, sincerely and in every way desire to be an Owned person. You want to live a life of absolute servitude, without rights or liberties. The question should be continually asked: are you sure? Let's review:

A slave has no rights.

Without explicit permission, a slave could never say, for example: "Hey, you can't tell me to do that." or "But, I'm not homosexual" or "I have a terrible headache, could we stop now and do this later?" or "Why don't you wash the dishes for a change?" And, even if a slave did say any of these things, a slave could never expect their Owner to give a flying hoot about what they thought or what they want.

Yes, it is possible you may get a loving, caring, kind, considerate, sexy, extremely intelligent, and wealthy Owner - one who wants to cherish you and treat you like a romantic (but kinky) lover. But, if that is what you expect, you would be much, much better off finding a more 'mainstream' D/s lifestyle Dominant (a "Dom" or a "Domme") that likes to think of them self as a 'real' Consensual slavery Owner (but, in reality, only 'plays' one in the bedroom); we would strongly suggest that you not become a real slave for a real Owner. Hey, there is nothing at all wrong with role-playing. Finding a 'partner' to 'role-play' at slavery with is what most ignorent people think Consensual RL Slavery is anyway.

You've thought it over. You've thought long and hard about all of this. You've been over it a thousand times in your head. Yes, you want to be Owned. You want to exist as someone else's property. For you, it isn't about the of 'pretending' to be a slave. While you might love pain, for you it's not just about masochism. It's not just about humiliation, and it's not just about fear, it's not about sex or leather or romance, it is about giving up control - 100% control - over your life to someone else permanently.

A slave might be used as a domestic servant. A slave might be put to work as anything from a Wal-Mart stock person to a nude bondage model/actor. A slave might be put to work on a farm working in the fields from dawn until the light bulbs burn out. A slave (such as one in Nevada) may be put to work as a prostitute. It doesn't matter if a slave works at all - that is entirely up to their Owner. And a slave does not get to keep one dime of what they earn; a slave does not own anything. While something may (legally) exist in a slave's name, the bottom line is that: a slave's Owner owns everything even remotely attached to a slave.

A slave relinquishes everything, in every way, to their Owner. If you speak, it's because your Owner allowed you to speak. If you eat, it's because your Owner provided you with food and allowed you to eat it. If you feel anything at all, it's because your Owner allowed you to feel it. If you move, it is because your Owner allowed you to move.

If your Owner makes a mistake, you will get punished for it. If you make a mistake, you will get punished for it. You will do whatever your Owner tells you to until your Owner gets tired of you doing it; and even then, you'll have to wait until they tell you to stop.

The moment you sign the contract, you will become your Owner's own personal:

  • Plaything
  • Servant
  • Receptacle
  • Chambermaid/Houseboy
  • Utensil
  • Robot
  • Assistant
  • Machine
  • Secretary
  • Peon
  • Slut
  • Minion
  • Footstool
  • Whore
  • Lackey
  • Personal Dancer
  • Sex Toy
  • Performance Artist
  • Chef
  • Pin Cushion
  • Pole Dancer
  • Window Washer
  • Freak
  • Sidekick
  • Coat Hanger
  • Butcher
  • Host/Hostess
  • Lap-dog
  • Boot-licker
  • Masseuse/Masseur
  • Puppet
  • Baker
  • Guinea Pig
  • Candlestick Holder
  • Dart Board
  • Alarm Clock
  • All In One Remote Control

Not only will you be ready and willing to be any, or all, of the above things at any time your Owner chooses, but also for whomever and wherever your Owner chooses.

Some of you might read the list above and start masturbating half way through. Others might read it and think: "Nah, some of this is just a joke... right?" No, it's not a joke. Once a contractual slave: you are complete and total property, and there's no way to change that after the contract has been finalized. So, if you think you might change your mind later on down the road - why don't you try being a submissive instead. If you remain a submissive, you can 'pretend' you are a slave for as long as you like, then, just like that, change your mind and stop pretending. I'm willing to bet that the ratio of real slaves to submissives who really just want to fantasize about being a real slave is probably around 1 in every 100,000. So, If you 'think' you would like to 'try' being a slave, just for a little while - you know, to see if you like it - it is highly unlikely that the path of real slavery is for you. Most probably what you are looking for is to "Role Play" being a slave - what you are probably looking for is "D/s" and not Consensual slavery; in which case, you are at the wrong web site.

If, however, you are positive, and I mean absolutely certain, that real slavery - total and complete, inescapable servitude - is what you are determined to experience, then think on this:

*If any of the following apply to you, you are just not yet ready for a life of real slavery:

  • I have set my own "limits", like any "normal" person should and they must be respected!
  • I don't want my hard earned career experience/education to just go to waste; I need an Owner who will allow me to keep my career/get a career in my chosen profession/let me stay in school.
  • I have dependants (children, relatives, et cetera) that I cannot abandon.
  • I don't want to give up any of my friends or risk losing contact with my family.
  • I have a "vanilla" interest (or two, or more) that I simply will not give up.
  • I would never allow my Owner to share me with someone else.
  • I would never be willing to share my Owner with anyone else, after all - they know I am the jealous type; I would insist on being my Owner's only slave!
  • It's not like it's 'real' slavery anyway, you know: it's more like 'role-playing'; isn't it?
  • I am [insert: race/creed/gender/sexual preference here] and I am only interested in an Owner who is [insert: race/creed/gender/sexual preference here].
  • I am an "age-play slave"/"gang-bang slave" and I am only interested in Owners who are couples/groups.
  • I am an "[insert: animal] slave" and I am only interested in Owners who have farms/barns.
  • I am a "non-BDSM slave" and I do not want any Owners who practice/enjoy any type or variety of BDSM.
  • I have rights, you know, just like everyone else; and I would never give any of my rights up!
  • Pretty much anything that includes: "I want" or "I need" or "My Owner must" or "I'll only be a slave if" et cetera.

If anything in the above list sounds just like something you would say, then, by these definitions, you are not a slave (or, more properly, you could not become a slave); and we very strongly suggest you remain a 'role-playing' 'D/s' submissive and pursue a 'dominant' who will indulge your 'fantasy role-playing' desires. As we've said before: there is nothing wrong with D/s and there is nothing wrong with role-playing.

I think that posting someone else's article with neither attribution nor credit is wrong.

Since the article seems specific to a certain website, it's hard to say what to make of it.  However, at face value, it boils down to "this is the One Twue Way", and we all know what a crock that is.

It was posted in a friend of mines blog, and I neither said nor agree that there is only one true or..."twue" way of doing things.

At face value, I merely had a giggle.

Where did your friend get it from?

And if he wrote it, did he give you permission to post it here without attribution?

It's just one persepctive - as we have debated here in CM in endless threads - it means different things to different people.  i have a similar link regarding "what is is to be a real slave" - very similar to yours.  If i can find it i will post it.

Okay...  but nobody said you did.  The ARTICLE appears to be saying that - if you don't agree with this and this and this, you are not TWUE.

Yeah, I am getting so sick and tired of the whiny 'real' shit.

Reality is that without some serious laws being broken in just about any country on this planet, 'real' slavery is just two people agreeing that one of them gets to make all the decisions and the other will just do it... until they decide not to.  Some people stick with a master no matter what while others go "You want me to eat your shit while your dog fucks me in the ass?  I'm outta here you fucking sicko".  Hell... some of them go "If you're not gonna let me eat your shit while your dog fucks me in the ass, I don't want anything to do with you".  No matter what though, none of it is *real* slavery, it's someone agreeing to things before being told what those things are.

If we really want to get into *real* slavery, it is almost never consentual.  You go out and take those who can't stop you and make them your slaves.  Then the rest of us, including the majority on this site, hunt you down and send you to jail for a very long time where you learn about some more nonconsentual things... like nonconsentual sex (prison rape) and nonconsentual infection of a deadly disease.

None of us are *real* here, or I sincerely hope not.  Don't get me wrong, people playing games to steal your money, they aren't looking for BDSM -  they're looking for stupid people.  People looking to get their rocks off by playing games online with people who are looking for BDSM, they're jerks and should be banned.  People looking to deceive someone into moving in with them, then change the name of the game and pull a 180 need to be thrown out on their asses or in jail.

People who don't fit person #267's definition of what a slave is?  Well, sorry person #267, but you don't get to own the definition of slavery.  Nobody has to listen to you tell them that they're not ready to be a slave unless they want to be your slave, then you get to tell them that they aren't ready to be *your* slave.  As a matter of fact, the only person that isn't ready for something is the one telling people they aren't 'real' and they may or may not be ready for slavery, submission, domination, mastery, but the one thing that they definitely are *NOT* ready to do is live in polite society.

My own personal opinion is that folks who adhere to the philosophy portrayed in those passages are engaged in a rather detailed fantasy role play of their own.

The OP asked "What do you think?"

I would find it a lot more helpful if the responses were along those lines instead of finding fault with the OP.

Perhaps a discussion of your different POV's on the topic of slavery would be more productive. What parts of this article do you agree with, which parts do you find fault with?

I am new to posting on these boards but i have spent a lot of time reading them. My first impression is that a lot of people here seem to quarrel and belittle more than discuss in any meaningful manner. For someone like me who is looking for information, interested in learning and wants to hear all opinions, it is sometimes a daunting task.

I think it's a silly article that tries to promote "The One Twue Way"

Consentual Slavery, within the lifestyle, isn't a one size fits all glove.

Whomever wrote that text appears to have had some notion of what a slave is, but he also has some notions that are incorrect.
1. The contract idea is ludicrous.
2. The suggested option of making a slave do something against his or her nature is plain stupid.
3. The suggested option of making a slave do something for which he or she is not suited is plain stupid as well. One cannot use a plow horse to race and one cannot use a racing horse to plow. Well, one can, but it would not be even a tiny bit smart.
4. This text is all about the slave. What about the responsibilities of the owner? This text suggests an owner that is not responsible for the well being and optimum use of the abilities and talents of his slave at all - someone, therefore, who is unfit to be an owner.

Quarreling? Here?

Kidding aside, there have been numerous threads debating this issue, into the ground, at times. You have a lot of people with a lot of differing ideas, that have little intention of changing.
