Granted the weather is now in the mid to upper 70's 365 days of the year all over the world. This leads to zero snowfall and a worldwide drought and the melting of the polar regions flooding every major coast in the world.

I wish for world peace.

Granted, world peace reigns. It got that way by the super powers all hitting the big red button at the same time and wiping the planet free of all people.

I wish I had an e-reader instead of trying to read a book from my cell phone.

Granted you now have a brand new kindle e-reader from ebay . However letters are in cyrillic script and you cannot read the books or use the device.

I wish i had some nice new itialian leather dress shoes to go with my new suit.

Granted, you get the pair of nice new Italian dress shoes. But it's a sting for counterfeit shoes, you get caught up in it and are arrested and prosecuted.

I wish I could afford to buy more buddhas, the kind with the big belly, their smiling faces put me in a good mood. I want a HUUUUGE one!!

Ok, granted. You are able to buy a HUUUUGE new buddha, however... it is so humongous you can't fit it through your door, so now you have a gigantamongous (new word ftw?) buddha lawn ornament which I'm sure ALLLLL the neighbors will be REALLLLLLYYYY happy you bought.

I wish I were taller.

Granted. You hear of a new experimental drug that may increase height. You agree to participate in the trial. However, the drug works MUCH better than expected and you are now 7 ft. tall. You have to duck to clear doorways and have trouble finding a car you'll fit into.

I wish it would actually rain here instead of just thundering.

The collection of 6,000 pieces did magically organize itself. Then you met a sub who generously volunteered to enter all of the pieces in a database. You were thrilled. You were not so thrilled, however, when thieves broken into your home and stole the entire collection a few days later.

I wish Blue Bell red velvet ice cream did not have any calories (instead of 200 calories in a 1/2 cup serving).

Granted, there are no more calories. But there's also no flavor either so it doesn't matter what flavor ice cream you eat, all tastes the same.

I wish I could finally figure out how to make my wireless router work so I could take my laptop into the bedroom where it's cooler.

Granted. The router works and the laptop runs faster than ever. As soon as you sit down and get comfy in the bedroom, the ac pops and smokes and quits working forever.

I wish I didn't feel so damn batshit crazy for the last week or so.

Granted, the insurance settlement from the construction company that had a type-o on a demolition order and accidental bulldozed down your house gives more excess cash then you expected. Not only are you homeless, but even your mailbox was crushed so you have to visit the post office everyday to see if your check arrives.

Granted. You decide a good massage may be just the thing for your back. After Igor the masseur works you over, the rest of your body is so sore you don't even notice your lower back pain.

I wish I could maintain my ideal weight without trying.
