Just be sure that the following pictures are things like extreme cbt.

wading in hip deep in the spud waters of this one...I for one don't care one way or the other how someone puts up a profile...I may have some personal questions about it..but that's on me...I for one don't even give it my time or attention if it says it's not for me..I move on...but then again I don't read as much as I used to...some of the scrip is getting to small or the crayon is way to bright for my tired old eyes...so here's laughing all the way back to the profiles...can anyone send me some magnifying glasses...or are you all gonna let me turn into Mr. Maggo....

My profile says lesbian even though I identify as bisexual because I only form relationships with women. I'll be attracted to men and occasionally fool around, but that's all it is. I explain that in the profile, and it says at the top that I'm not looking, but I still mostly get mail from men.

I've considered saying "NO MEN", but hell, I've found a few good friends in guys that stumbled across my profile and didn't mail me sounding like a HNG, so what's the point? I'd still get the messages anyway.

In my experience here, women seem to better understand the words "single, but not looking" and I can't say I've gotten HNG mail from a female profile.

Ah, I see... mine doesn't do that, but then it automatically logs me in and runs that search thing.

Apparently I need to put NO MEN in my profile... I got my first hate mail from a guy today... hehe... I have arrived!

Well, I'm a real lesbian, although that's partly by choice. Sort of like CalliopePurple's situation...I'm still sometimes (though rarely) attracted to certain types of men, but I choose to only have long-term, intimate relationships with women.
I don't put "No men!" on my profile because it would seem redundant when my orientation is already listed as lesbian. If someone refuses to understand that, it's quite simple to just delete the email. I don't block all men, however, because I occasionally get very pleasant, friendly emails from those who don't seem to be looking for anything more than conversation or friendship. Okay, okay, so "occasionally" really means twice...but I do hate to stereotype, so I just delete them all manually.
