Do you recall the first time you visited this site or any new site ? Do you recall how hard it was to figure out just what you were doing? What was allowed, what would piss others off. Well of course not....... How could you . I have made several attempts at posting in the forums , several mths back and stopped because of the nit picking shit, tried again just this past week, and what a surprise BAM, the hateful shit once again ,and although you might not consider your post being a smart ass comment, did you ever stop to think how someone else might take it? I normally do not speak out against the "pack" every site has them .... just t his  once I thought well fuck it ...... I am gonna say it regardless, oh and  yall will be glad to know the thread in question never reached the 20 page flame thrower that you thought it would ...... HAVE A NICE DAY

I rarely fit in on BDSM sites, simplewhispers.  Then again, I rarely fit in *anywhere*.

I'm the Misfit that gets outed by the other Misfits, more often than not.

However...I don't let that stop me from expressing myself.  Everyone runs into a ranter/flamer sooner or later.  Read what they have to offer.  It's free, and there's nothing saying you have to agree...but once in a while you might see something that is worth mulling over.  If you dismiss the irrelevant and embrace the relevant, the rest is just trivial.

How do you express yourself?  That might be a key to how others take you.  Anyone who comes of as a know-it-all, for example, is less likely to be taken serious.  A person who voices an opinion, stating the opinion as such, who takes the time to explain how they arrived at the thoughts they have shared, is more likely to be at least considered.

Consider where you are posting.  In Random Stupidity, one cannot expect serious answers.

My last piece of advice would be this - don't take yourself seriously.  Even the greatest experts in any given field are human, and as such, capable of errors.  How a person learns from errors is quite telling; if you just get angry, then you've allowed your buttons to be pushed.  If you take it with a grain of salt, and accept when you make errors, you'll be the better for it.

Happy posting.

I admit my buttons are pushed. I tried not to let it happen, but alas you are right I am  human and prone to bleed when poked, I dont claim to know anything, seeking advice and guidance, but would like kindness as well, thank you for your advice, and for your words of kindness

Im sorry you have had this happen, but lets face it.  Internet, or real world, theres always gonna be a topic that rubs people the wrong way.  Its just a fact of life.  And no offense, but if ya cant handle real world issues, and things that happen, crawl back under Mommy's apron...Just my opinion, however.

I looked at your posting history, and you are pretty goddamn fragile if  you are thinking of committing seppuku over a thread, for the most part they have been pretty lighthearted, I don't see where you been drawn and quartered.

And why shouldn't folks be jaded out here....you sure sound a little like that...

You can come here with sugarplums dancing in your head, and by god, many do..

You have already done the obligatory men are wankers shit, you wanna hear about women?????

But there ain't no magic in the world tonight...tough work, lotta goofers and gamers and just every day taking out the garbage, this ain't the yellow brick road......

C'mon now, buck up and show 'em your ass.....lose the whiney, oh my god I have been icepicked in the heart.......

'Cause no, I really don't care what I seem like to my 200K  multiple profiles, money grubbing, nasty skank bitch, nigerian scammering, men posing as women closest friends here at CollarMe.

I am jaded TODAY over what I felt as harmful yesterday, and it matters not how you feel I have been treated, but how I feel about it myself.

I never set out to draw and quarter anyone, I hope when they speak with me they are left with a nice impression rather than one of the icepick in the heart feeling.

As far as how I feel about men, I like them, some of em I love .... I do not want the impression to be that I think men are wankers could not be farther from the truth....

Hiya Simple,

Yes i recall the first time i visited the site, my first posts and my first threads.
Yes there is sniping, smart ass comments and out and out nastiness at times.
All that said i'm not going to sugar coat my replies for those of a sensitive nature.
I dont go out of my way to piss people off but if i do so be it.
My advice would be toughen up or don't post.

At least you're owning some responsibility for your own part in that statement .

Seriously, when I watch a television show I don't enjoy, I turn it off.  I understand some people get addicted to soap operas, but there's a fine line crossed when they start watching their own custom designed soap opera as it plays out before their reality.

i.e. are you sure you don't have anything better to do with the hour you wasted on this thread?

I called it  jaded, because in my thread yesterday, the jaded introduced themselves to ME...... I did not call out to them. I posted a thread , and yes I could have choosen not to , however you could just as easily skipped over it ... options were available to all parties.

If you feel its a waste of time, why are you still posting to me? I did not attack you personally, why do you feel the need to defend? I have nothing against anyone personally, you have the option to simply skip over my postings.

I have never seen a message board that has any diversity in the people posting not have drama and people failing to act like they would in person. The more passionate people are the more passionate the responses and with anything that has sex either directly or indirectly affected you will also get some nut jobs.

At the same time letting another human beings you do not know, let alone cyber bits affect or control one’s emotions is not a reflection of the negative persons or the message board itself but the person who succumbs to those feelings.

I am sorry your experience is not how you would have liked it. I think though throwing everyone under the bus makes you more similar than different to the people you are probably upset with.

I think the only way to approach a message board is to take the good from it you can and ignore the rest. If you cannot ignore the rest then maybe a message board on topics like this is just not for you.
