Most people here do tell it like it is, some days, more patient than others, some days you get bitch slapped if someone does not like your posts.
We were all new here once and you will hear the same litany, if you don't like what goes on here, you are free to go.
If you stay, you will find all sorts of people, just like in real life. But, as in real life, if you just walk up to a group of strangers at a party for example and ask a question like you did in the post you are referencing, how many would offer you kindess? Most would say, Uh, ok, alrighty then and walk away. Some might talk to you.
I don't feel it is "us jaded folks of collarme" because collarme, like any other site, is just a microcosm of the world at large.
If I post something, I expect nothing and appreciate any intelligent replies, laugh at the funny ones, learn from the enlightened ones and roll my eyes at the snarky ones or snark back.
