Don't get bent out of shape over a guy that is clearly insecure, defensive and a teensy bit crazy.  I wouldn't get involved with someone that volitile for all the tea in China.  If your preferences are still your preferences, don't change your profile.  It was clearly he who was the ass and not you.  Best of luck finding a not-crazy one soon!

Actually, from what you say txnights, it just seems like an excuse to me.  I've found, unfortunately, that some just want someone virtual for a few days then they want to move on, usually before they can get too close.  I've gotten every excuse in the book, from blaming me, like this guy did to you, to "somebody" being ill, or just ye ole standby, they just go "poof" and refuse to respond to you any longer.  I mean come on, you mean to tell me he talked to you within that amount of time and just got around to reading your profile?   And even if this were true, you'd been talking to him any way so obviously the age thing wasn't important to you...just seems like the guy had is few days of a virtual friend and it was time to move on for him.

To me these are the hurtful ones out there...I just can't understand how people can play with others emotions like that.  Just like some cases I"ve heard of lately in the news where people pretend to be who they are not, really hurt the person and it ends up in suicide or murder.    I know it's hard but you just can't get that attached to someone you only know online.

You just have to forget it and move on.

Nothing odd about having a 'type'. I think his reaction was irrational.

Some people are very sensitive and dramatic. If he felt uncomfortable she should have simply brought it up. I mean part of being in this lifestyle is talking and being real.

He doesn't sound like a safe venture to me.
