Yeah, Mayweather is exceptionally quick on his feet, but Ricky is a lot quicker than people assume, the problem was that he couldn't force the Yank back and dictate the fight - Mayweather simply pushed him off with his strength. Genuinely, there are few people in the boxing business in England who gave Ricky a chance of pulling this one off - due to the difference in size.

DelaHoya needs to stay out of the ring and continue on with office work and cross dressing. He is past his prime. As far as Hatton and Mayweather.......very good fight. I would love to see Mayweather fight Cotto next. See how he does with a man that is nearer his size and not past his prime. I give Hatton a great deal of credit, he gave Floyd a far better fight than DelaHoya did.

I reckon he'll fight Junior Witter from Sheffield who's the WBC belt holder - Hatton has ducked him for years because Witter is dangerous and he didn't want him getting in the way of his crack at Mayweather. That's gone now, and Hatton/Witter would be a big fight in England, and they could hold it at a football ground and sell upwards of 50,000 tickets no problem.

When l started this thread, I didn't realise just how many of you out there were avid fight fans...and the respone you would bring....l thank each and every one of you for your opinions and input.....l think a permanent thread on boxing should be created....Anyone interested ???
