at alices restaraunt (dont forget arlo, stef) I know you weren't going for a compendium sort of feng shui answer here.....nevertheless, he was not the only one....can answer two common thematic questions in this way, I should think. Ron

Celeste...if you want a reason to not be marked because you are a Jew, i would go with this Mosaic law, rather than the Nazis.... “You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:28 it makes more sense....

Body modification made without consent will never be attractive when you know why it was done. I heard a theory that the reason the Jews in concentration camps were tattood was becasue of the biblical laws agianst it, and fording them to go against it. Anyway more on topic Fox has said he would consider a tattoo when he and I have been together for longer. I have drawn a Kanji symbol for Fox on him (Kitsune) and he is quite fond of it. Where it might be, we arent sure yet. His father has several tattoos and has already tolf him that if he should choose to get one (not specifically for me, but in general) he would recommend certain parlours over others and make sure he checked the place out with Fox for safety and such. Angel refuses to get a tattoo becasue the bible prohibits it, and along with all the other restrictions e have from his religious preferences I accepted that before he was collared. I am not fond of piercings on males, so both he and Angel are unmarked in that way. DV

All religious and historical information aside as they were not involved in our decision.. We are going with a multi strike brand a year or two down the road, just trying to come up with a design right now as there are a lot of limitations (closed designs don't come out well, try to stay away from circles because of how the flesh responds to having a burn go all the way around a patch of skin, it effects the circulation to the area.) We opted not to go with a tattoo because they are just so common and there is no real commitment to them (they can be removed and are not very painful). Currently she wears a collar but that has lead to some issues such as getting into airports, clubs and even the courthouse to pay a ticket because of the metal detectors. For us, even though we are really into body mods, tattoos are just too common, The collar and the brand have the most commitment in heart, body and soul. When she takes the brand its a lifelong commitment that she will bleed for so that adds to the level of commitment.
