I'm sure you're right, and this all accords with my experience too. But it is possible for someone to strip (or be stripped) and endure the experience without any emotion whatsoever. (It's kind of like fucking a blow-up doll when someone acts like that, but it happens.) I'm not a counterintelligence investigator, so I don't know exactly what techniques are called for when stripping someone doesn't elicit the desired emotional response, but I'm sure it's been found that different techniques work with greater and lesser effectiveness on different people.
