Actually, I was thinking about this thread and its premise... If we assume that the study does not differentiate between Doms and domineering (abusive or close-to-abusive) men, then I suspect that the abusers overwhelm the Doms staistically. I further assume that the kind of woman who will be with an abuser will be from a lower socioeconomic stratum. If the study was not corrected for socioeconomic factors, then it will be a study showing poorer people are less happy than more well-off ones, disguised as a condemnation of D/s. This is what happens when clever people misuse statistics.
