My favorite is hearing, "Your new safewords are: 'More', 'Harder' and 'Faster'!"

I was required to use "picture" once. Too bad the one time I had to use it was when he was cutting off my air supply (in a bad way and before I was into asphyx). Other than that, real tears (vs. wailing or crying) or the word "Stop" (not used in a sentance... for example, "Stop" works, "Ohh, Master, please stop," doesn't).

I also used to use the safe signal for when I was gagged. Flipping the dom off took enough effort that he knew when to knock it off.

Snickers -

as it was her favorite candy bar. She bought them by the box she liked them so much. She said that it was all she could remember when it got too much for her. It was when she most needed the comfort of sweetness I suppose.

Since I play with MANY playmates, I assign RED for stop, yellow for go a little easier, and green for I'm okay, please continue. Otherwise, I'd have to remember a bunch of different words and I have a memory like a sieve so you can imagine how WRONG things might go in those circumstances...BIG GRINZ...

As a "once or twice a year switch" I have very effectively used "quit fkin hitting me you SOB!" as a safeword <smiles>

Egypt or Egyptian.........Very Egyptian. That was a pretty funny one I used to use with one girl. She spoke in tongues when she was coming (Pentacostal upbringing) so when an actual English language word erupted to the surface it caught my attention right away. Another funny one I've experimented with in the past was "Pineapple", but we could never keep a straight face when using that one. That's too funny. I think I like Paramecium, might have to try that some time. Although I really like to keep them down to two or at most three syllables. You want something she can bark out quickly, not trip over.

I've had several different words but the best one I think (in terms of sheer randomness) was "cracker". I think it came up because I was eating one at the time.

My current is "Lavender", my favorite color.

i think universal failsafe-words would be - OPRAH WINFREY! - enough to get the most ardent atheists grabbing for their crosses.

PARIS HILTON! or QUINCEY MD - might be a naturally incipid enough to kill any mood. or for the brits - KEN or DEARDRE BARLOW!

Mine has been "lawsuit" for many years. When a dominant hears that, they sit up and take notice!

Other's I have heard:

"Linbaugh"
"Santorum"
"Constitution"
"Haasinfeffer" (sp?)
"Nascar"
"Toad Suck" (a local area here in Arkansas)
