Bonfire methinks. I got my ass out of academia 2 months ago and haven't disposed of the evidence yet. Need to do something nice and spiritual to send it off.

Confession: now going for a medical degree instead. I just can't escape being a professional student 'till I'm 30. Bring on the pain!

Thanks TammyJo and Uniform, you're right. Probably why I've not thrown this stuff away yet! Though I do doubt I'll ever need articles on things like "the development of the marsupial retina" ever again, guess the data and such stays. *sigh* Well, there goes one more avenue for making space around here! Though I do like your last statement, TammyJo... "Organizing all my stuff will be one of the new jobs for the next slave trainee I get in the future. A good test of how useful he/she can be." That is definitely a good idea. Now to find the slave to do it..... Thanks again for the replies.

Bonfire...now THERE's an idea! At least for the stuff I can dispose of. I think I remember burning my Organic Chem book in effigy in college...hmmm. So, ya got out of academics eh? Well, at least now you're on track for a similarly masochistic course of studies, but one with a better earning potential. Power to ya!
