God, I have a heart attack every time I lose in that game and you get that really loud "D'OH!" Catches me by surprise every time, lol.

Hey guys!!! Have Y/you noticed the games they have available????? They kick some ass!!!! The last time i played some of them like space invaders and the black and white one was 20 years ago!! There are groovy!!!! and to be honest all my 20c i had left waiting from the fish & chips store where all spent on the fatmans machine which he had while i waited for the junk to get cooked in the greasy who knows what he was using.... blehhh[:'(]

Funniest? Some of the absolutely brilliant one-liners that people drop in, in response to posts.. I have a roster of favourite posters..... and I feel sad when they disappear for a while, and happy when I see them back and on their game...

I used to think the funniest part of Collarme was the forums. I loved the witty exchanges, the banter, some posters make me spit out my diet peach snapple. Some posters do not understand the smallest amount of irony or humor. Some posters are delusional or clueless. I used to love when a posting rhythm got started and you could just jump in and join the fray. The one liners could be priceless. I even thought I had contributed to alot of that. I even liked the arguments, because if you are the kind of intelligent thinker who actually listens, then you can learn something from someone who is willing to listen to another's viewpoint. But now, I am not sure how funny or witty Collarme forums are going to be now that I have seen censorship in action. But you may not get to read this post, so it will be a moot point.

Gor...there, I said it. I have done my best to read the posts, read the books, get the 'vision' of it all, but at the end of the day, I just can't shake the "BDSM LARPing" feeling. sigh and now I will get a bunch a emails about my 'misguided' views and how I just havn't found a 'real' man who will put me in my proper place yet...

While I am not Gorean and never will be, there are some very well-spoken, intelligent Gorean posters on this board. I think the funniest thing about the CM forums is the personalities and quirks and how people come together and diverge. Sometimes it's rather predictable, other times suprising, but many times very funny.

I don't disagree, but it still smells like Larping, and not even they 'hey, let's go cavort in the woods wearing elves costumes for shits & giggles' kind. I have often seen it taken WAY too seriously. I have read all this stuff 'natural order', honor, and when a Man of Gor must defend this and kill that...anyone actually get killed for violating the honor of a Freeman? I have no issue with it, honest, but I just find it funny (as this thread asks for). I mean, hello, its takes place on a planet hidden behind the sun...so, IMHO, I see little differeance between that and living my life by the writings of Lovecraft...now THAT would be interesting...

Having said that, one of the most interesting discussions I have ever seen on the boards was about homosexuality and gor...I was fasinated by that...which brings me back to the OTHER thing I find very funny of this site- 'dcnovice' he never fails to crack me up (starting with that homosexualtity and gor post he made- I STILL tear up over that).

FR... And the funniest thing of all........is people who come to places like this complianing about how repressive "vanilla lifestyles" are, and how much freer and speshul and open bdsm ones are. And then seem to spend all of thier time trying to get others to conform to the "pc" version of bdsm. How many of you decided to get into an alternative lifestyle to explore new frontiers in conformity? Makes me laugh every time I see it.

Personally, I think my message box is the funniest part of CM. The hilarious/ridiculous things I get in there every day are a never ending source of amusement. That said, I've linked to this before for some folks, but I think Houseplants of Gor is hilarious. THAT said, no hating on the LARP! I <3 LARPing.
