and I say it again... who-is is rather unreliable..... in spite of it being extremely common nowadays, not everybody has high speed internet. If said person doesn't have that, the who-is could located the person in the middle of the amazon rainforest even though said person would be sitting comfortably in their living room in Dakota.

So far i've talked to only three people that turned out to be 'geniune' and only one of those was from Nova Scotia. Plenty of other real people i'm sure. But i'm also just as sure that its 80% fakes, game players and similar types around here.

Well what is a fake profile? Is it the picture which has been photoshopped a bit to remove a spot or 2. Mine is not photoshopped but it stems from a day i got a new digital camera and my daugther got a serious case of clickomania. She took hundreds that weekend and if the real me is the one she napped of me sitting on the bed in the morning is the real one, well it could be considered a fake as i did choose this over the other which quite honestly is horrible. Hair standing in all direction, face like a moron and more like that.
The obvious fakes i do find quite easy to spot. What i do find more irritating is the bad manners which a lot of people exhibit. Writing a letter to answer a profile which i truly always have read, trying to be as polite as i think the situation requires, and then not even receiving a "Thanks. But no thanks" response is a sign of real bad manners. But then finding a real match here is like digging for diamonds. On the Namibian coast they remove and sift through 250 ton of soil to find 1 carat of diamond. Work that efficiency rate out in %?
