Another note Pink you keep bringing up how things must be "public play"

Public play is no different than private play except that more people are watching.

If you really WANT to get into the nuances, GENERALLY more extreme stuff happens in private away from the impressionable newbies who might scream bloody murder because they don't understand or accept that what's going on is ok between the people happening and can't tell the difference between an ok scene and a not-ok scene.

But really, public/private, no difference.

Some of us seek intimacy; trust; delving deeper into the water with our One; not all of us think sleeping around and "public play" would make us happy.

Some people could accept these differences amoung people and show mutual respect; others cannot. We all know which catagorey you fit into, Em.

I'm trying see where she said that public play and sleeping around would make us all happy.

I want to be more flexible so I can be bound in more varied positions. Any body got advice on how to become more flexible? I've started with yoga......

I would think that yoga would do it. Afterall, if you can wrap your ankles behind your head and cross them, then everything else seems easy <grin>.

Actually, ragdoll, the OP was for ideas on fun things to do with a really flexible sub. Somewhere in there, a light-hearted exchange about the forum rankings got twisted into....well, that.

I want to be more flexible so I can be bound in more varied positions. Any body got advice on how to become more flexible? I've started with yoga......

thanks for the explaination on the "topic" .. :)

as OsideGirl said, i think if you get good at yoga, then you'll be as flexible as you want!

^_^ i don't know how many times a week you take it, but obviously taking yoga two or three times a week will get you more flexible (faster) than taking it once a week or only every other week. And practising yoga poses at home, in your free time, can help a lot too. ~

That said! i wanna add... some people just aren't as flexible as others. There's a sort of "natural" flexibility we all have. Some people will never be able to get into all the yoga poses, even if they do yoga every day for hours on end....

i was pretty heavily involved with gymnastics when i was younger (and so was my sister)... As children in gymnastics i was always more naturally flexible than she was.... even now... with her weighing less than me... i am still more flexible than she is (she takes yoga now - while i don't do yoga or gymnastics at all anymore).. ~ so.. bodies are different...

Of course....... someone probably said this already... but, again, i didn't actually read through the whole topic....

NP[:D]

I hope to graduate my yoga to an hour a day, every day, eventually. I just have a helluva time getting up in the morning, lol! I'm looking forward to seeing just how limber I can get, hee hee. Anything is better than where I am now. I know that increased flexibility decreases the chance for injury, especially during strenuous activities.

I need some ideas of what to do with a girl with a good deal of gymnastics and flexibility training... I'm sure theres all sorts of fun and wicked things I can do to use that to my advantage, but I am not sure just what at the moment :)

One might think that coitus would be good for starters....

Huh?

First off, what makes you think you can't delve deeply with one person AND sleep around? While not everyone can do it, some people certainly can.

Secondly, why do you join sleeping around and public play? The two things are completely different. Many people ONLY play in public with their other partner. Very few public events allow sex.

I guess you think I don't show mutual respect to people who choose not to play in public or have casual sex?

Good question... I lucked into a bit of the ol' martial arts when I was a sprog - no, no testosterone here, I'm rusty as all hell and I learned much more about not fighting than I did about fighting. Anyway, it got the flex in me and I've just kinda kept it up.

Yoga is the first thing to come to mind, I'd also suggest a bit of gymnastics - things like bicycling and those wonky butterfly weights. Low or no weights, just getting the movements going and putting your limbs where they wouldn't normally be.

Anyone who knows what they're talking about are free to explain why I'm an idiot for suggesting this. }:D

i wonder why you think that "public play" and "sleeping around" are synonymous??
i'm pretty sure (though i've never been to a public play space - but it still seems "obvious" to me) that "public play" isn't "one big orgy" and "sleeping around". i'm almost 100% positive that in a public play place you don't have to play with anyone... OR you could only play with your Mistress or Master if you preferred...

it would seem that there could actually be a great deal of intimacy and trust involved between a dominant and submissive who are sharing their relationship and love and devotion to each other in a public forum...

then again... maybe i misunderstood what you were sayin' which is possible.......
i didn't actually read through this whole topic.

ragdoll

ragdoll, on another post (maybe one that's been pulled) one of the members said she enjoyed (1) casual sex and (2) public play. i know BDSM P/pl generally distinguish between the two. i myself think it's a difference without a distinction...i may or may not agree they are two separate activities, but i would not let any Man touch me without a period of getting to know Him and feeling hopeful that perhaps this could lead to something lasting. i need to feel intimacy and trust before i would find those activities pleasurable. However, yes, i can understand playing in public with the Man who has captured your heart.

Lucky the old me is not alive at the moment. The old me would of said this was just a show off question bragging he has a skinny, flexible girl.

This is the new me and the new me wont says things like that..

If flexibility is your goal..as opposed to cardiac health or such...i honestly do not think you can beat ballet.

All great things. Pilates are good too. But when doing any exercise, it's important to warm up first and then stretch afterwards otherwise the lactic acid will build up and can cause muscle pain. Remember also to take your time and go a bit further each time. In addition, calcium & magnesium supplements will help make you more limber. Quest makes a good chewable one. In general, what you eat will contribute to your overall circulation and flexibility.
