Several things, all from the same family member...including a scarf she knit for me...I felt the love in the stitches as I took it out of the wrapping.

A convertable slowcooker.  The pots can be swapped out between a 2 quart,  4 quart and 6 quart.  That made me happy.

I'm not going to say it made me happy, but the "Cobs-A-Twirl" squirrel feeder still makes me giggle.  The description reads..."Twirling feature provides fun for squirrels and creates wacky squirrel antics".

I guess I really was on the naughty list!!

Yes.  My 18-month-old granddaughter called me "Gammie" for the first time.

I visited with my close relatives these past five days. I met nearly all of them and had a great time.

I think someone should start a thread about the stuff they got out of a Christmas Cracker because it always amazes me what they can fit in one. This year I got a fold up ruler out of one which is OK for measuring things I suppose but not much good at drawing straight lines as the hinges tend to cause the pencil to jolt. Added to this inconvenience is the fact the ruler can bend slightly due the facets and the gaps in the hinges, so you never get a straight line. Oh but it's the thought that counts.

Actually I wasn't what I got per say; my adopted fam got my UM a pair of Tims (Timberland Boots) and I was ENVIOUS of her! After I realized I covetted her boots I started laughing at myself. Kids get all the cute stuff sometimes.

I second that motion with a great big, "Aaawwwww!"

My sixteen-month-old son says "booger" now.  Does that count?  LOL.

Christmas trees with faces now that is just scary. It could be a plot to a horror movie where the trees realise they are no longer required and so they attempt to take over the world by slaughtering everyone. As soon as you give a tree a character you feel sad when it gets chopped up into wood chippings. This is the principle that makes personification of trees just wrong IMOSHO.
