my daughter surprised me with a pet rat - we named her abby... although it was a b'day present not really a xmas present.

I got a pendant from Fox, completely and totally unexpected. I also got an antique glass ashtray and vase set from his grandmother which has a very special place in my heart since the ashtray was HERS. Accd his sister she was thriled to find the matching vases... i dont know, its a big deal to me.
I also got a new camera (its on its way!) and a purse I had had my eye on for ages. But the pendant and glass set are by far my 2 favorites.

Gave a hell of a gift too... Christmas Surprises are as good on the giving end as they are the recieving sometimes

A big hit for me? My Owner...on Christmas. She showed up, completely by surprise, and made me squeal like a girl. I'm told it was adorable. She also got me a nice collage-type magnet frame that is just amazing.

Awww!. We got my son two pet rats for Christmas. They really are cute lil' buggers.

My husband surprised me with a beautiful cobalt blue and gold punjabi suit, with a matching scarf. I've been wanting one for so long!

DV and shawn, what an awesome surprise, My pets wife and I conspired three years ago to get me to fly down for his birthday, The look on his face was one I will never forget. I hated keeping a secret from him, but ultimately it was a wonderful trip.
For christmas I got a DS lite, the kids got fed up with me pinching theirs:) there is method in my madness :)
Oh and a new external hard drive after my catastrophic computer blow up in november.
As an aside, my father died in march this year, and my sister decided to give something in memory of him, so she bought a goat for a family in Malawi...the sentiment that went with it, "a new goat, from an old goat".... He would have been grinning from ear to ear about that.
I talked with my family in the UK, all of them, and had a wonderful time with my hubby and kids, ....wonderful time

a gift cirtificate to build a bear work shop....already cashed it in...its a really soft brown bear with patches and "brahms lullabye" in its paw...and a blue and pink fairy winged dress and pink shoes with sparklies....
