Em, I agree with you! I enjoy that first day feeling crampy, I don't take anything for them, and like I told my Master (and he got a kick out of it), those cramps are part of me being a girl ! LOL

I'm glad mine still comes like clockwork; I'm not looking forward to hot flashes and all the other nasties that come with menopause!

Go with the flow!

this slave wouldn't try to speak for all that have to endure extreme pain in various parts of the body and psychological changes (heightened emotions, mood swings, bouts of crying) for over half of a month, but this slave IS one of them and can say with certainty the last thing on this slave's mind is celebrating that sort of disability. it is something this slave has literally ENDURED since age 11, thank God the partial hysterectomy at 26 stopped the 9 day clot infested floods and disabling cramping, but as long as the ovary is kicking and estrogen is running rampant, the rest of it marches on! as with everything else, if you haven't experienced it yourself, it is difficult to relate to.

Master doesn't like sex while on my period, although we have done it. He prefers not to because I dont feel him as much inside me and it is way to messy. I do service him however but i am out of service sexually speaking during the time of the month because i'm to emotional and cramps of course.

Sincerely andie and Master Hal

emerald i completely agree with a lot of the points you've made.

I have never understood men who worship, and request worship of their "seed" yet feel the need to take a few steps back when the subject of menstruation comes up. i don't expect my mentruations to be worshipped, but respected at least. it's my version of their seed. i've educated soooo many men in this subject, and still there are more to convert to respectability.

menstruation is a sign of your fertility. last time i checked, life was not something to be shied away from because it was messy.

To answer the original question, there are a few solutions you can do. There's a new Birth Control Pill available in the US that gives you your period 4 times a year. Once every 3 months, instead of every month. You just keep taking pills. no week off, or week of sugar pills. You can do the same thing with any monophasic pill, but you should consult your doctor first. That at least reduces the amount of times you and she have to deal with menstruation.

The cervical cap is an excellent idea. I've had mine so long i don't know if it's a product or brand name but it's called a Keeper. #1 it's VERY good for the environment. Pads biodegrade near the rate of disposable diapers. #2 it can be used anywhere, i got mine the first time i went canoeing for an entire summer. (try figuring out where to dispose of your bloody pad/tampon in bear country) #3 you can consider vaginal "service' #4 there are no strings to worry about dangling.

if you don't care about seeing some blood, or being exposed to it, you may want to try toying with the concept of freebleeding at night and/or parts of the day. read about it here - http://myvag.net/blood/free/

Every person is different. Every monthly cycle for each person is different. The best thing to do is take it day by day. at least with this, unlike other things in life, you know when it's coming and you can have a back up plan. But to have a solid, sweeping policy for every mentrual cycle of every slave you're ever with is silly. They will all be mildly or radically different. Look at this as yet another chance to have open communication bringing the two of you closer together.

I have PCOS and my period is unpredictible even at this late stage. Used to be it was somewhere between 30 and 90 days apart. These days it's somewhere between 28 to 40 days. Once in awhile it will throw me a complete loop and show up 10 days early. The pill is not an option for me, so I live with this. But, also means that Master lives with the surprises as well.

It's hard for me to celebrate the womanhood involved. I've always had very painful periods. Add to that my ovaries are cystic and I get a fair amount of pain when I ovulate. From age 14 on, a few days before my period I would get mind blowing, blinding, disabling migraines that sometimes put me in the hospital. These have decreased as my hormones have worn down and with some herbal remedies, thankfully.

Sorry, rambled.

I guess the point is that we're all different and each person will have different needs during it.

'Twas a joke. I said I'd like a week off. It'll probably never happen. I couldn't get a week off if I wanted to. Ah well, here's to wishing. I know what you mean about the backaches, though. Cramps are my problem. They're dehibilitating.

You've got a definite point. Then again, just because I'd like some time off, doesn't mean I'm going to take it. It's just wishful thinking. I, for one, am resigned to the fact that I'm going to have excruciating cramps for two weeks every moon cycle, and sometimes more.
