Congrats on Mini-Domme and to all the soon to be Mommies!!!!!!!! This year I came out of BDSM hiatus because the children are all grown and gone. Time for me to stop the "feed the craving" play and find a nice subbie/slave partner I can call my own. My Baby Girl, who will be 21 in February (see Ask a " Mistress Like Mother, Like Daughter" thread) announced that she wants to learn the art of domination. I can't complain at all about the job since I didn't work most of November and had more than a week off for the holidays without having to take leave and I travel all over the state, therefore I can interview potentials all over the place! I've met a very interesting "vanilla" man that seems to accept me and all that I am. He's good "convert" or "bring out the submissive in him" candidate, long shot but worth the try[;)]. Best of all...I've joined ClubFem, which is unique in that the Dommes/Mistresses are joined by single submissives/slaves to serve us at each meeting/party/munch. They are also allowed membership after a strict interview process. Pink ribbon around the collar means they are open for play. Cute isn't it? For 2008... not a resolution but a promise to myself is to get back into the lean, mean fighting machine shape I use to be in. This Roll Call was a very good idea!! I too have had much change in 2007, I also "re-entered" the lifestyle after an almost two year break, after breaking from a slave that gave five years of great service, I needed a break! This year I have played with a few interesting slaves, and met a few more. This past summer I finally kicked My wife of 14 years out, and am currently engaged in a bit of a custody battle, however, I think we are close to making an agreement! You would not have heard Me say that even just a few weeks ago, I thought we were going to kill each other. My boy that lives with Me is in Jamaica right now, thankfully he went before his grandmother died, and will return in a few more weeks. Other than that, its work work work. I hope that everyone has a great New Years, all the best in 2008, and congrats on all the babies soon to come!

Well this year besides working I have been going back to college to get another degree. That is all going well I can say. The bad news is I have another ruptured disc in my back and will have to have surgery. So I am not to happy about that but you gotta do what you gotta do. My sub and I are doing ok, its the 3 year mark for us this month. ~Lashra

Congratulations to the new mothers! 2007 was another year of death and tragedy, so I am looking forward to a brighter year ahead. At least a DIFFERENT year ahead. Tax season is upon us, so I can happily burrow into my windowless office and work away the winter. I need to find a better job, so that thrill is ahead of me... I am aggressively re-forming a social life, and seeking out new playmates. Whether I will find a decent long term submissive in the shallow pool that is SE Michigan remains to be seen.

I can also see where it might provide at least some relief for a woman during a pregnancy, but am doubtful those points would stimulate the onset of delivery as it approached. In my experience, the human body and the response process from having receiving reflexology treatments just doesn't work that way. Reflexology helps to restore the natural functioning of the body and it's various organs by opening blocked pathways in a manner similar to accupuncture, accupressure and other eastern medical treatments. Thus, it wouldn't be likely for it to overstimulate a pregnant woman to induce labor, only to help keep her and her baby's body healthy during her pregnancy. [&:] Best wishes to you MsC during the delivery of your daughter and I do hope your sub hub shares the total experience with you as I did with my ex/former-Mistress when my UM's were born. For the first, I'd swear they gave me the dullest scissors in hospital to cut her cord with when she was born. I'll never forget that precious moment though when I went to touch her in the warmer afterward as they were cleaning her off. When I went to touch her, she reached forward, wrapping her tiny hand around my index finger as if to say "Hi Dad!" Happy New Year, all, and congratulations to the new mothers and expectant mothers. This year was totally zero-to-sixty for me. I started with a dim understanding of kink as a theory, went poly, got a girlfriend, figured out that whole 'am apparently kind of domme-ish' thing, experimented a whole bunch, lost the girlfriend but kept the kink... Also kept the preexisting boyfriend. Life is so often complicated when it should be simple... Happily I have a very positive feeling about this year.

First, for those who may have missed it, I'm no longer collared to Majik. I've joined two local lifestyle groups in the DFW area plus have been volunteering at the local dungeon since mid summmer. I'm committing myself to get out from behind the computer on a regular basis this coming year and hopefully meet someone who's local to me as well as make more friends to socialize and do things with when I don't have the UM's for the weekend. [&:] This past year has been a challenge at times due to constant legal hassles with my now ex-wife/former-mistress following a 16 month long divorce with more legal proceedings that followed; all of which were initiatated by her. It was a huge waste of money and spurred be spiteful energy and a greedy attorney is the only thing I can say. Ultimately, nothing positive was accomplished and my UM's have greatly suffered emotionally as a result. If you're looking for a wealthy sub, I'm now broke monetarily, but very wealthy in many other ways. I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to express the sub within me, getting very much in touch with it at the core of my being over the past year or two, and to not have any shame or fears as a result of being who and what I am. [:)] In the short term, I'm not looking forward to having to put my dog Tabitha down in the next week or so when her time comes. But I've accepted that it's neccessary for me to let her go. When my UM's return to their mom's next week, I suspect she'll finally quit hanging on and I'll be lovingly saying goodbye to her with the help of the vet. I've had plans for this for a number of years which I set aside because it's what my ex wanted. I'll once again be releasing the creativity that exists within me which had been stifled. For me this will be a year of refreshing my skills and making more concrete plans for what I'll need to do in order to make the things I've wanted to have happen for some time to finally become part of my reality. [:D] I see many new doors opening to me this year along with a few that I hope will be gently closing behind me. I hope more than anything to enjoy the journey wherever it might take me. Wow we are getting an early start smile.Thing were good on the Circle C this past year,new dogs, a new kitten and so far our health has been good.Most of our goals were accomplished with a long list for 08....A new master BR,rebuilding the old barn and maybe just maybe if she is very very good a new jeep for my baby....bounty

Congratulations mini-domme and new babies! I've had such a busy year it's been insane. I think I'll be home this week four days and then it's off on the road again. The end of the year saw me on a new HBO special (finishing airing this week.) In February I will be filming with Mtv again for a new special about fetish. I can't give away any details yet, but I will post links when I can. I'd like to relocate to a bigger city this year. Perhaps back to Canada, or somewhere like Chicago. Ohio was such a big change. I've been here for six years now and I think I am just ready to be back near a big city. I would like to finish this massive piece of art taking shape on my back, and the work on my sleeves. I worked on them for all of 2007 and I would say they are about 3/4 of the way finished. I guess I could sit for a day and get them all done at once, but I go every couple weeks for a few hours and have them done bit by bit. It's a process I really enjoy. (Tattoos.) I would love to meet the right submissive female/submissive/slave/personal assistant/lover of travel/able to keep up with a speedy domme at a moments notice this year. Someone by my side on the road would be so wonderful. My goal for the year is to attend as many events as I can and really make more of an effort to be out, and speaking, and talking to people in our community. I think it's my most favorite thing, getting to meet people from all over. And last but not least to just take some time for ME. I resolve to take a vacation this year. Something ridiculously decadant and selfish. I was even thinking about making it an event. Dommes week/weekend away at some luxurious locale where there will be massages and wine and lots of lounging around doing nothing but being fabulous. Hopefully near a beach or maybe at some snowy retreat with a hot tub? That sounds really good to me. Where I don't have to work or be on, I can just decompress and be pampered for a few blissfully relaxing days.

Congratulations to Ms C and the pregnant domme who posted above. I am looking forward to hearing how everything goes for you and your families. I was a well trained massage therapist and my brother was a highly trained teacher for the Rolf Institute. The relief massage and body work my bro gave to me while I was very pregnant was huge. And, lol, so was I! It has been a very busy year for me since I had my 'Coming out Party'. I've met around 30 people from collar me which expanded to many more out in the community. It's been a lot of fun and plenty of work. I moved this past year and am still getting my home fixed up to match my personal vision. I'd just started a new business when I started having serious problems with my health. This has caused me to take a step back from having quite so much fun, although it is D/s and bdsm fun and friends that keep my mind stimulated and happy. What worked best for me this past year was moving to real time meets quickly. I am so happy to be 'Out' of the closet. My Um is grown and gone and he is thrilled to know I am so happy. If it weren't for my current health issues I think I'd be on the top of the world. New years resolutions/hopes for 2008: Back in excellent shape after I heal up. Bump into a number 1, and collar him or her. Get my business up and running successfully. Have tons of fun with private parties, training, and a vacation where my domme friends and I can be served around the clock. I am thinking a cruise would be grand, where we can bring our toys and dance, swim, jacuzzi, spank, and frolic for 5 days and 4 nights. How's that sound? Maybe off Hawaii, or Jamaica? Now that it is January I can respond. This weekend I'll be in DC for a history conference where I'll have 5 first round job interviews -- 2 on Friday, 2 on Saturday and one on Sunday morning. Everything else this year will flow from these events in terms of vanilla matters. Fox made a very surprising decision and told him parents that he is moving wherever I go -- he didn't go into the whys and they didn't ask, they merely attempted to offer their own justifications. They have a strange relationship and as long as it doesn't interfere in my household, he and they are free to discuss things on whatever level they are comfortable. That he's moving is not the surprise that he told them so early and in fact before we even know we are moving is the surprise. I warned him afterwards that given how his parents deal with any non-traditional information that he'll end up having to tell the over about 3 more times.

By 2009, I'll be out of my parents' house, living in New York City and finally making a real effort at dating and all the other stuff I haven't had time or energy for.

Congratulations to the new mothers to be. 2007 has been lifechanging for me. Divorce and newly single. New job where I am growing and doing what I already love (counseling children & adolescents and families) and am teaching a gen. psych class twice a week. My first time teaching and I am loving it! Became a certified disaster response counselor! Re-entered the lifestyle again after some considerable time-off. Watch my youngest brother graduate from his trade school and is now working in his field (HAPPY! HAPPY!). 2008 is the year of me coming out and playing more. And completing the last few courses before I begin my dissertation & research. I just realized how I have been so Blessed.

2007 was a hard year in many ways, but I did make a lot of progress toward my current goals in life, and I did learn a lot about myself and my emotional/sexual needs, which was a positive thing. Goals for 2008: visit Europe for the first time, meet more sexy people, do a lot more photography of erotic and other subjects, make a few more short films, invest in some new cameras, computers, and a kiln for working with silver and glass, spend a lot of time exercising and training my body, and improve my knowledge and skills in a number of academic and artistic disciplines. Plus I really think I need to look into buying a house in Cairo. There are a lot of men in the Middle East who need some SERIOUS training! I anticipate becoming the richest whore in the history of the world by 2010... [:D]

Be bold, dear, be bold! i love the roll call, think it ought to be quarterly myself. Not a stellar year, a little of this & that & too much overtime & a lovely weekend in SF this summer with those-who-shall-not-be-named. Found my space as a 'demo' model. :-) Great side trip to Napa & found some wonderful wines. Outstanding sushi at 18th & Ogilvy. You get there, do it. Ask for the chef with the Ducati. I think my days of fathering children are over with. Knowing howit can affect me, a casual foot rub isn't something I'm likely to offer a woman I either don't already know pretty well, or don't want to get to know a great deal better.
