Well, its still January, so I'm resurrecting this thread from page "goodness knows what"! I'm back tonight, thank the gods of jet powered aviation, from Prague - complete with my new boobs! I arrived in Prague last Sunday, had examinations on the Monday and the op on Tuesday morning, care of a Czech lady surgeon, Canadian trained, who really knows what she's doing (reference on request). The only problem I had was being stuck with watching CNN all week as the only channel not in Czech - which would have driven me crazy, but then everyone knows I'm as crazy as I could be already. Honestly, even German TV would have been OK..... I got my first look on Wednesday when the bandages and strapping were replaced. I couldnt believe it! Where I'd previously had something but not much, I now had two rather large somethings! The original plan was to put in (I think) 285ml implants but to do more if possible - I ended up with the largest, 305ml. No idea what size I might be now from looking but its definitely a large C or small D. What was amazing was that there was no pain whatsoever from the surgery - two cuts about two inches long each below each breast and no pain at all - mind you it hurt like hell when the drains were removed, but only for a moment. They issued me with loads of painkillers but I gave them all back this morning before I left. In fact the only pain I had at all was from my arthritis - what with being strapped up and having to sleep on my back - which isnt my thing in any way! The bandages are coming off again Wednesday and then I'm strapped up for a few weeks more - to make sure the implants stay where they should be, and then its urgent shopping for new clothes and who knows, maybe some new pics too! E
