I thought I would be bold and revive the Mistress roll call this month. Hope all the Mistresses had a wonderful Christmas and sub-Santa brought everything on your list [;)] My sub/partner and I are counting down the weeks until the arrival of our first baby. Its a girl and her nickname is Mini-Domme. We know who the real boss of the House will be when Her Ladyship makes her grand world debut in March 2008! Her FairyKinkmothers (Mistress Natalya Dostova and Mistress Scarlet) are throwing her a kink baby shower at our place - that should be fun! Mini-Domme will be the first baby to get latex jumpsuits I am sure...... Needless to say my corsets don't fit, I am as clumsy as a hippo and my feet look like footballs (so thigh high boots are out of the question too [:(]) I stopped work at Christmas (which explains the sudden avalanche of posting....its so dull at home) Its scorching hot here right now (41 degrees celsius -or 106 Faranheit - tomorrow!!!). We 3 are heading north to the tropics for a few weeks and will be off the net. Looking forward to reading Ask a Mistress when I get back!! So how is everyone else? Freezing your cute derrieres off in the northern hemisphere??

Working working working here in Philadelphia (in the vanilla business.) I'm also getting my supplies ready for my workshops at the Fetish Fair Fleamarket in Rhode Island in 2 weeks, and making plans for a dinner party there.

Hello from the not so frozen north of New York State. Congrats on the new mini-domme, they're fun and you'll feel back to normal soon enough. I'm up to my ass in alligators finally getting my math homework done. I've got the Rubberball next month and then off to "camp" in February.

I've kind of missed these roll calls. Thanks for bringing them back, MsC. Congratulations and high hopes for the mini-domme's arrival. Most of My update has already been all over the topics, but I'll try not to bore anyone. I've taken to using a certain phrase these last couple of months. I have all that I need and perhaps more than I deserve. I've been very happy between My husband and My submissive. It has been wonderful to have then both in My life. Currently, My boy is in FL for a few days. I did finally get to meet his wife face to face, along with three of the four um's. It was a great introduction and she and I seem to like one another. The dinner that W/we all had together was very successful. I couldn't have been more pleased. W/we all spent time together on Christmas Eve, and My sub and I got to spend tine together Christmas Day. In other areas, looking forward to a play party on New Year's Eve, and getting to Atlanta for the Regional munch there.

Congrats MsC! Hope the Mini-Domme arrives safe and sound. It's a bit cooler up here LOL ... sunny Queensland is a bit cool and damp at the moment. Saves on the air conditioning bill anyway. So I hope You enjoy Your time in the tropics ... how far are You going? Master and I had a lovely Xmas with His Dad, out to lunch which was great and no one ate again till 10am Boxing Day! So it was value for money too. Looking to have a quietish NYE at Our favourite local pub which has entertainment and roast dinners for $10 that night. 2008 ... well, I have to hope it will bring a bit more Uni work for Me (those irons are already in the fire), perhaps the start of My ventures into a PhD, and the debut of Alliance ... the musical duo of Master and Myself! Hopefully enough work will be forthcoming in the surrounding areas. I might be tempted to wear the corset as stage gear occasionally [;)] But of course, the main thing I am wishing for is the right sub for Myself and Master. Male or female, main requirement is a loving heart and a willing attitude to do what needs to be done, around the house and in play, the reward for which will be a life of being cherished and appreciated. I am hoping to make more productive use of my down time in the year 2008. (That's the New Year's Resolution.) I won my biggest law case of 2007 this month, getting someone out of prison and deportation proceedings. I would say some things about my personal situation: being married vanilla with a Mistress --- but its become incredibly complicated. On the one hand I see things as a success, but on the other I worry about managing, deciding what to do about our poly issues. I finished the year on a strong reading note, reading two novels: THE ROAD and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and two non fiction books: SUPERCAPITALISM and The Big Con: The True Story of How Washington Got Hoodwinked and Hijacked by CrackpotEconomics. I cannot say I am big Cormac McCarthy fan. On lower notes, my leaves still aren't raked. We put a tree up this year but did not send out any Christmas Cards. "Yukon," is my favorite blend of Starbucks coffee. INTO THE WILD gets my nod for Best Movie of 2007.

Well, January...... I shall be supervising the start of two contracts worth about £2million altogether, the prep for which has kept me very busy indeed since early November. Then I'm off to Prague in mid January to get some bra fillers sorted out (half price compared to UK). Congrats to MsC on the baby, and to SunNMoon on the new job - may you both enjoy every minute! E

Thank you so much for posting this, Ms. C. -- and congratulations on the Mini-Domme! My year has improved tremendously during the last couple of months. I found a submissive maid who is sweet and charming and devoted to me. I have a new job that I like a lot, and I'm having a lot of fun with my friends in the scene. I taught a class for Black Rose recently, and I've had some interest in presenting it elsewhere. After a really rough 2006 and 2007 (breakup of a relationship, losing both of my parents), I am looking forward to a happy new year. About damn time!

Congrats and best wishes to you and your partner MsC on the mini-Domme. I'm sure you will have so much fun raising her. 2007 has been a year of tremendous change for Me. I had gastric bypass surgery in August and it has radically changed my life. At 350 pounds I was honestly killing Myself with every ounce of food that I consumed and My doctor advised Me that if I didn't do something soon I could very well develop hypertension or diabetes or BOTH. She also said that losing weight by ordinary means (diet & exercise) is great, but at my weight I was likely to gain it all back plus more. Thanks to the kind mentorship of a friend I was able to see a surgeon and get the surgery done with basically no hiccups, thank the Goddess. It's been really, really tough getting used to the special diet and portions and also adjusting to life with a smaller stomach, but the pay off has been phenomenal: I have lost 93 pounds! ME...93 pounds...something I never thought I could do...and still losing roughly 5lbs per week! My blood pressure & sugars are all normal I have no more back or knee pain I have gone from wearing a size 26 to a size 18. Soon I can start shopping at all the cute lil boutiques... I feel better than I ever have in My life. (Still miss eating a whole steak tho...bugger!) On the BDSM side... I dunno, I'm sort of rethinking My life as a Domme. I'm not giving up just yet..but it's quite hard to find a submissive in this conservative place that I live. It's heartbreaking to think this way...but I'm considering just going vanilla for a bit....GAH can't believe I am thinking that way!!! Will still keep My precious boy however...he keeps Me sane! Alright MsC! Pregnant Dommes represent! Mine is due January 11th, but the doctor says I could pop any day! Right now I'm doing a lot of sitting on my butt and whining about how miserable I am :P My hubby is starting to get a little stressed and we're on and off, and my 2 year old is taking full advantage of the fact that mommy can't chase her around much. My new years resolution is to be a better parent once I can move again. I also need to work on making my relationship with hubby better. Our relationship has been rocky since he accidentally knocked me up three and a half years ago. We're hanging in there though! The past year has been a growing period for me. I got myself into some nice kinky trouble, broke a heart, had my heart broken, and got back up and put myself out there again. I started LARPing again, a hobby I'd given up after the birth of my daughter. Likewise, I got kinky again, something else that went on the shelf after the birth of my first baby. Man did I miss this lifestyle. It's so good to be back! Against all odds, I've also found a really sweet submissive boy who is willing to put up with all of my pregnancy and post-partum crap. (Not to mention my sadistic streak) His patience baffles me, but I am very glad for it. He gives wonderful footrubs and loves to cuddle, which is about all I can handle right now. I keep asking the Universe what I did right to get so lucky. It's been a pretty turbulent year, but a very fulfilling one :)

I'm back! I left for awhile as I have a professional career and had to put my regular lifestyle on hold but alas, I couldn't hold out any longer and needed back in! I got soo many little presents at Xmas and had a grand time playing with all my hello kitty toys! :) I love my furry socks! I just finished getting the good check ups at my doctor's and got on a diet and all a ok's on blood pressure, temp, etc. Yay!

On note of pregnancies, I have heard that there are areas to avoid massaging on the feet (near the ankles) during pregnancy because of reflexology--there is potential to trigger labor. I did not originally know this information. And then one day I was giving a foot massage to a pregnant domme..........and suddenly I heard sounds of an infant crying! How many service submissives can claim delivery as a service they have done?! Just kidding ;-) I am not sure how common knowledge this information is so I thought I would mention it since the crowd here probably sees a higher per capita occurrence of foot massages ;-) If anyone wishes to know more, Pixel might be able to comment more since he has studied reflexology. Or asking a health professional (especially one who knows about holistic health) would be another idea. Cheers, Sea

Congrats on mini-domme! Life is harried, stressful and frenzied at the moment. I married mine in Morocco, where I too call home, 6.5 months ago and have been seperated nearly that long. The US denied his visa even during a miscarriage. We never wanted to live here but a year in the US would have been helpful. So he is moving to Spain the end of January we pray. We have a great deal of family on the Costa Brava in Gerona. A year there and then off to reside in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria where my nerve damage won't damage so quickly. We will be opening a large computer shop and I will work from home on computers and my writing. Pretty much all I do right now is sleep, work far too many hours, my mind is nearly always on him, sleep, work and oh, did I say work?? [:D] Let us hope that everyone has a wonderful 2008! Best, EG

Wow, one hundred degrees F sounds fabulous (as I freeze in my blankie and furry socks). This year had been great for me. I met my lovely sub this year. I am almost done with college (two quarters to go) and got a very good job about 8 months. The 2008 plan looks to be going smoothly (ie, get out of debt, go to university, move to another city)--I like to plan ahead. Happy new year all!!!

I have missed these roll calls! Congrats to all the posters who have good things/people in their lives. As this year winds down I heave a huge sigh of relief. It has been one heck of a ride whee! Work wise I have come full circle (loooong saga there), hubby & I made it to the end of the year long mentoring program so now we can relax a bit, I am enjoying becoming more involved in the local kink community. I am sans a sub at this time but that is OK. I have actually had two former boys approach me for re consideration and there are some lovely men on the local scene also. When the time is right then I will stumble across the right victim, er, sub lol. May all the wonderful dominant women of collarme find much pleasure, fulfillment and growth in 2008. It is good to be Queen.
