Like twistedwillow when i first started looking things up a lot of the people used the slashes and i thought it was protocal and kept doing it...but it's tiresome and the more i talk to people the more i realize it's ridiculous.
However i rarely capitalize "i" unless it is for a school assignment. (i never understood why "i" was so much more important than "her", "he", etc.) i do capitalize Masters pronouns though it's not required i have just fallen into the habit of it.

I totally agree with you on this point.  I have more then once deleted a message from somebody because it was littered with all that crap.  I remember the first message that I got with all that mess in it I had to have my girlfriend translate it for me.

I think the whole thing is silly if you want to know someones role of choice then check their profile or simply ask them. But I guess if switches HAVE to have a way to signifiy their role It CoUlD Go SoMeThInG LiKe ThIs. GeE IsN'T ThIs AnNoYiNg? KiNd Of LiKe 3Rd PeRsOn SpEeCh.[:'(]

What about using "modbus" or "bumdos" or "dumbos" (I particularly like the last one). [:D]

I dont know anything about slashes except the one I am giving or receiving....I do how ever sometimes us the upper and lower case letters depending on what I am in the mood for....if Im feeling DOMINANT..or submissive..most of the time I speak in text, abbreviations, lots of (...) for pauses...:)  oh and spell check lots and lots of spell checks,,,LMAO my switchy cents...P/pamela
