if your muscles are cramping its normally low potassium eat a banana, the burn is a good thing, when I walk on a mill my calves burn so bad I have to stop or run and it goes away try changing the way you walk or buy new sneakers, drink lots and lots of water you can also go to GNC and ask for a quality multi and some minerals to boost your energy levels

With yoga it is very important to not try to keep up with the fit models in the video.  You can get hurt, like real hurt.  Just do the poses so they are comfortable and visualize your energy body in the perfect pose.  Over time your physical body will begin to conform.  But do not over do it.  Do some reaserch also if you get a video, there are a lot of different kinds of Yoga.  Tai Chi can be hard for beginers to grasp the energy apsects of, and they don't get it, but I highly recomend you give it another look sometime.

There are Body Fat Calculators that give you a much healthier way to track the progress towards fitness.
Google Body Fat Calculator and it'll give you a multitude of them.

Much better than those old out of date Hieght/ Weight charts.

Latest thing I have heard is the walk/jog / walk cardio thing.
100 meters walk 100 meters jog, 100 meters walk, 100 meters jog, ................ for whatever period of time.
Something about the body getting used to an activity and conserving energy gets thrown out of wack when you change up the pace. Thus resulting in better results.

BTW you can help yourself alot if you set your MP3 player up to play a variable speed songs alternating and use them to set your pace.

I have tried tai chi and I really don't like it but I tried yoga and love it so I think ill stick with that.

I would also like to suggest that since you are going to have major body changes that you get regular check ups on your liver, kidney, gullbladder, ..etc   also if you ever plan to go to a gym that you have a trainer at that gym.  if you smoke, stop that now.  if you drink, stop that now.  those factors will be huge in your health as your body changes.  dont want you to have a stroke while you are working out.

I dont smoke. I don't drink. And on the Yoga thing, thankyou for advice but I used to do yoga a long time ago so I do know a thing or two about it.
As for water, I drink enough. As for taking a banana I already eat those or other fruit and take a multi vitamin. Multi vitamins have never done too much for my energy and eating bananas have never really helped my muscles from not burning but ty anyways.
As for an MP3 player I don't have one.
As for a personal trainer I cannot afford one.
With the Tai Chi, I don't think I will ever try it again, I found it to be really dull and really boring.
Thankyou all for your advice and opinions though, I do appreciate it and have learned some things.
