Submission is a very intimate relationship.  It has to be done with the right person.  Doing it with the wrong person can be disappointing...Sometimes even scary?
In rare times it can go so wrong.  what experiences have you had in which a sweet little slave turned on you and nearly tried to harm you?  Have they turned into psychos... withpout even laying a finger on her?

I had an experience once. A really bad one. 
After my first experience Dominanting a slave girl here in my home country I thought I have seen everything.  I started to go out with one really nice and sweet woman in her late twenties.  She seemed like a good person at first.  We played a few times and every time she seemed to like everything was ok.  One night after our play session and after telling ME to chain her to the bed post we went to sleep. I woke up with a knife to my neck (I am still clueless on how she got unchained in the first place).  She demanded money.  She took Lps. 1500 lempiras ($75 dollars) out of my wallet. Then she left.  I called the police and naturally they captured her and I got my money back.  She then told them I had belted her earlier (the police did not seem concered about it though). She got 6 months in jail.

She did not appear to need money.  She certainly fooled me.  Ever since I sleep with one eye opened and with a loaded 9mm Glock under my pillow when ever I have submissives over.

If someone is stealthy enough to unchain themselves and get a knife while you sleep all sleeping with a gun under your pillow is likely to do is just give them a really great way to shoot you in the face that isn't traceable. Might just be a little more careful with sub choice.

Status: offline 		That is so true.  I have slipped cuffs, reversed zip ties, and loosened ropes if I want to badly enough.  And taknig someone down is not that hard if you are determined.
I would advise against keeping a gun (glock or not) near the bed.  A better idea might be to get to know your partner well before inviting them to spend the night.

Status: offline 		You are in Central America, it's a whole another story there, I spent 2 years in Sounth America and 6 months in Panama.  I will assume that it is similar at least the culture.  I recommend that you take things a little slower, knowing that BDSM is no where near as accepted there as it is in the EU and North America (and it's not very here).  My boy and I found it very hard to find play mates while we where down there and I have to say that when we did after spending time with them first to make sure that it would work, with most of them we decieded against playing with them.

Also not to sound negitive here but petty crime was very rampant where I was and a few of our non-kinky friends had simpilar things like what happened to you happen to them on sleep overs.

Just spend more time with them to make sure next time.

I'm surprised by your post because I just read the other one in which you wonder why subs and slaves are rather reluctant to just drop to their knees for you.  Well, now you know...  It's a safety thing. Sleep with one eye open. 
if you wake with a knife to your throat, you won't get to the gun anyway

The whole loaded gun under the pillow thing isn't at all sexy or promoting a feeling of intimacy for me either.  Being psycho because someone was psycho to you isn't really an answer.  While I agree we need to be careful, people can fool you even when you are careful.  You have to balance caution with being able to trust though, which can be hard.

I'm curious why she felt the need to put a knife to your throat. If she was stealthily clever enough to get unchained, she could have rummaged thru your wallet herself and slipped out while you slept.

I trusted somone who I had been playing with for a few months and what that SOB did I'll never forgive. At least she didn't cut you or worse. Damn its getting to be a world where you can hardly trust anybody!!
