AquaticSub -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 1:38:22 AM)

When others have stayed with us, we simply keep the bedroom shut. However, when I was living in the dorm and with my parents during the summer (and we still do to keep things semi-tidy) I used the decorative hatboxes you can buy at Michaels or Tuesday Morning to store vibs, floggers, etc. Most people don't give those a second glance.

WOW! Now that's clever!

BitaTruble -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 1:42:44 AM)

We're both out so we don't hide our toys, but most of them are downstairs and company has no reason to go down there .. unless it's to play with our toys. ::grins::

They are also wonderful for bringing toys to events and parties. I've found them to be surprisingly sturdy but I could have just had good luck.

YourhandMyAss -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 1:47:10 AM)

I personally don't hide my toys. And I don't have to because nobody around here cares.

I have a pretty carved wooden chest in my room and it is lockable

i have a pink chest with a lock. i also have a little one who loves to explore. :)

AquaticSub -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 2:05:32 AM)

In that case you probably want to get something that locks and is as boring looking as possible.

GabrielleSlave -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 2:16:25 AM)

i have a blanket box in the corner of my bedroom with a lamp on it.  my ums don't give it a second glance.  i thought the restraints on the dining room wall would be overly obvious, but it is strange how the eye does not see what it doesn't expect to see...

I have my floggers and such hanging in the back of my closet on the hangers under my long winter coats. I have found i can hide alot of  toys there and no one notices.

cautiousiasub -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 5:13:03 AM)

My floggers are also behind long winter coats in the closet. The other (smaller) toys are in an overnight bag on my closet floor. My UM has never been allowed in my room...it has always been an off-limits area, so the only time he goes in there is to ask me a question. Thankfully, he is still at the age where curiousity doesn't get the better of him. I am sure as he gets older and he begins to snoop as most do, I will have to be more creative in where I put things.

Willowmoon -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 5:13:24 AM)

floggers hanging in closet.
Sensation toys in a shiney silver cosmetic box
Rope hanging on clips in closet
Vibes and insetables in a small toiltry bag in a drawer next to the bed.

Taboo4Two -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 5:16:16 AM)

Closets are the best place to store anything you don't want to be seen. We use canvas bags from the Army Navy store to keep things out of sight and the back of the door is a perfect spot to hang whips. Canes are kept in an expandalbe tube normally used to carry blueprints.

Littlepita -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 5:19:39 AM)

We keep our toys in a closet in our office and in a nightstand drawer. No one goes in those places so we don't worry about it.

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 5:22:05 AM)

i have a glass dildo that came with a purple bag which almost looks like a pillow on my bed ...my leash and nipple clamps hang on the doorknob behind the door and riding crop leans against the wall in my bedroom - my UMs know my room is strictly off limits.

RCdc -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 5:26:19 AM)

Unless the toy is sexual - we don't 'hide' them away.  Cuffs, rope etc are all pretty much just 'around' and not specifically 'locked away' unless they need specific care.  We prefere to teach by example and promote trust in our households and personally have nothing to hide from our POV.
We don't search other peoples personal spaces and visa versa.

We don't have unmentionables so when I had my toys at home they hung on the wall in my office, now they are all at Wolf's house in his dungeon.  My  husband's nephew's (both in their early twenties) have seen them  hanging on the wall, lol and if anything have a healthy fear of their Aunty (neither of them ever asked if am a Top or bottom [:D]) I think they would be suprised if they did ask[:D]

Depending on who is living with us we don't hide our toys.  We do however keep them in the closet.  Our toys in our bedroom....regular sex toys for the business in the office closet.
Soon, we will have children living with us...so our toys will have their locks on them.

KatyLied -> RE: For those couples (1/10/2008 6:18:31 AM)

I live alone so I don't have to "hide" my toys.  I just keep them in a bag in the bedroom closet.  I also have a copy of Different Loving (which I've never read) under my bed.
