I think you can get taken no matter how long you have known the Dom, I know of a Dom who has taken several victims and ruined them financial in many different ways. He builds up trust over a long period of time then one day it is just all gone. I know this man and almost got caught in his web (although I did not realise that finacial control was to be an issue), luckily one of his former slaves warned me and gave me the names of others whose lives had been ruined by this man. I could never give over complete control to my Sir I have now, although I love him with all my heart, I have my um's to consider also, so Sir and I have agreed fianance and descions regarding them will be a 50/50 thing. But under different circumstances an arrangement similar to what kyra described would be a wonderful thing.
