Status: offline 		        Thank you for the excellent link LadyHathor.  That was the first thing I've seen that mentioned this in particular.  Electrical tape didn't bite enough.  I haven't much hope for the strips.

The post was up less than an hour before you started to get snarky about the replies that weren't good enough for you.

The  useful replies were more a matter of patience (because most people don't sit online all day hoping to find a topic they can post their expertise to) rather than as a result of your being rude.

Be careful of anything like tape with sticky background, the skin is is very very thin and too much pullingto get the tape off will tear or cause a terrible reaction---if you need the bite then Id say stay with the parachute cord, or a cord from a windbreaker or such, something not stiff but grabbable--(you might also look under Shibari, that is Japanese bondage, I'm not sure what is there, but worth a look ( grabbable now there is a word for you. LOL).

True, but in many cases, I think there are far more "ex-spurts" here than experts. 
 
It's also very difficult to be an expert from a distance; when you don't know or can't see for yourself all the details that haven't been disclosed.  Not to to forget the many posters who aren't even aware of what's relevant or important for a "twue" expert to know in order to provide advice thats's on target and useful to them.  In my experience, those with useful knowledge to share, usually begin to quickly recognize as they learn more, that there's much more out there which they don't know and have yet to learn or experience.
 
One can't hardly assist those who aren't willing to make an effort to also help themselves.

Some good replies eventually did turn up, which is par for the course for any thread here.  Honestly, they would have turned up faster and there'd have been more of them if you hadn't lost your cool.
