my Master likes to chose what i wear from my wardrobe, He trusts me to buy what He likes, and He simply picks out an outfit and i wear it. He has good taste! .. W/e are both fond of my wearing heels and i have no problems wearing them, it would be a punishment for me NOT to be able to wear my heels!

i used to really rankle at the thought of someone else picking out what i wear ... many long years of being a lumpy badly dressed teen and then a lumpy covered up late teen evetually resulted in me finding my own style which projects me and my personality and i feel confident in ... i am never going to feel drop dead sexy public, thats only something that will ever happen in private for me

the thought of being dressed in tight short, cheap, slutty revealing clothes ... makes me want to heave .. and suggestions to that effect from men i have been with have nixed several potential relationships.

but then a very dear Friend of mine sat with me once and ransacked my wardrobe ... he picked out clothes that were mine .. i had bought and paid for anc chosen to fit with my taste and style ... he showed me ways of wearing them together that would make him take a second look if he was a stranger

my clothes still say all the same things about me they used to say .. and still make me feel the way i used to feel ... but now they ALSO express this side of me ... none of my heels are higher than an inch (well .. no heels that ever get worn outside) no skirts higher than my knee ... no sleeves shorter than my elbows ... and no necklines lower than my collar bone .. i have never shown the skin of my bacj or midrift in public unless on a beach and only about 5% of my wardrobe clings ... but its how i wear it now that makes me feel that side of myself

Forced clothing or dress is akin to mobile bondage and having your Dom's presence enforced into your consciousness. High heels hit the trifecta here b/c: (1) you can't ignore them (they are hobble your stride and enforce posture); (2) you must wear/(can't take them off) --- by his command; (3) they tap into your own natural desires for submission and control.

Some idiots (or just those with limited imagination or comprehension of human psychology) see this kind of thing as straight fetishism --- but to me the subspace of a D/S clothing dynamic is much broader than that.

Rubber, pet will wear lots and lots of rubber! In layers, different colors, different types. The more rubber the tastier! When I have my way (which I will) rubberpet will be forced to wear at least three layers of rubber at one time. he then will be locked into it, and will not be released until I say so. Besides he looks sexy as hell and I wont be able to keep my hands off of my lofah headed sub once he's wearing tight and shiny rubber from head to foot.

it's actually my hair that we have more 'discussions' about at this point. we mesh pretty well with my clothing choices to begin with but d*mn we're having some struggles over what i can and can not do to my hair.

I'm also limited to what i can do with my hair...im absolutely NOT allowed to cut it (only trim dead ends), but we dye it lots of pretty colors, so its ok. (I'm purple at the moment, and loving it!)

Like someone said it is so erotic and sexy for me and it makes me feel more owned than ever.

My problem is; that i am not allowed to dress very sexy, at least not my version of it. i love low cut and high cut and heels that show off my legs, but he likes the more conservative look.

We talked about it and he explained to me that i am for his eyes only and he doesn't want others looking at my boobs hanging out etc, plus looking overly sexy doesn't turn him on. He is originally from the south and grew up in church, so i go along with it. i am however, allowed my lingerie. that is my fetish. We pick that out together and we compromise. He gets a little bit conservative and i get a little bit sexy.

It's also fun to watch people watching him shop for me and watching us when i model each outfit for him. The whole experience is good.

Although he does buy my clothes, he only tells me what to wear occasionally.

Once when i was young i bought something and slipped it into the closet and didn't wear it for months, then i tried to pull "Oh, i've had this a long time, don't you remember?' That did not go over well and i never did it again.

Not bad life for a threat :)

My lady picked out what I wore sometimes when I used to live with her. I enjoyed wearing what she choose because I knew I looked good in it, and that it made her proud to be seen with me. When I dress myself things tend to drift towards jeans and a t-shirt with running shoes, not exactly the image of professionalism or fashion.

I reread this thread, since I posted it in the first place...

It brought back some very sweet memories... I am so glad it came back up...

Sinergy and I are dating again... he recently sent me two pairs of Vans... crazy weird Vans... because I mentioned I had never owned a pair. I wear them and people who know me have commented on how unusual they are and they are not "julia" shoes... which makes me want to wear them even more...

Sinergy is so sweet sometimes....

nothing i dont think. sometimes though its a thread for advice over something thats happened or happening and you spend an age writing out a thoughtful reply only to find the whole thing happened two or more years ago. wasted effort - except that it might still be relevant to someone else reading it and in a similar position, so maybe not.

i spose people think its no longer relevant, but often threads keep their 'point' even if the OP who instigated it has moved on.

Basically, you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.
If you resurrect an old thread people get upset.
If you start a new thread, people will suggest you use the search function.

If reading old threads suits your needs, go ahead.
If something in an older thread resonates with you, then by all means post it.
If you crave the feeling of support and community by posting a new thread, then do that.
You can't please everyone... be true to yourself.

As for lally's response, that does tend to annoy people... after someone resurrects a thread, we post a thoughtful reply and then discover the thread is 2 or three years old.
