quote:
ORIGINAL: subtee I remember it well…it was a Tuesday, early spring. The days were lengthening and the land was awakening from its dark winter slumber. I awoke to the sounds of joyful birds returning from the south…their dawn courtships beginning again. I smiled at their eternal dance of swooping and wooing in ever dizzying heights and thought to myself, “Wow. I’m fucking nuts.” Those things you mentioned—fairies, sci-fi books—are indeed expressed and explored here, but I don’t believe they are any more endemic to this group as they are to any other (general) group. I think they just feel more free to be… I also don’t feel in any way a “misfit” or “lost” or “off kilter.” Would you answer the question since you're here too? “Why ain’t you right in the head?” And I have a question, if these things don’t interest you, why do they bother you? (Also not intended to be condescending, just curious.) Never stated they really bothered me. However, they do seem to play a significant role in the lives of many folks that associate themselves with bdsm. I can't speak for all...Although I was recently elected to be the spokesman for "the lifestylers"....At one time I might have believed that there was not a difference between the non-bdsm'ers and those that engage. Now I'm not so sure. I will speak now solely for myself not as "The Voice." I'm a tad bit off...Perhaps a lot. Not exactly asocial but don't really dig many folks on this planet...Might fare better on Gor. While I hope the best for humanity I tend not to dig or seek out the company of the majority of the people who encompass it. I have always been rather content to be alone. I have my friends but they have learned that I just ain't typical or right in the head. There is more but it would be incredibly boring. It is true that virtually everyone likes to view themselves as being unique...Rarely when laying some serious damn pipe to a subs ass do I make the comment that her sex was average, rather mundane or the same old same old. I have found that this type of comment usually does not lend one's self in acquiring the highly coveted repeat performance. Anywhoooo, in viewing these threads I have found that the majority of you are whacked...Ya know, unnormal, bent, twisted, incapable of blending easily into the fabric of society....You are the cum spot on my dark blue Adidas sweat pants....Not necessarily a bad thing it simply is what it is. I see that this thread was moved to random stupidity...I can see that although possibly poorly phrased it is rather interesting to wonder if it takes someone who would be considered off kilter to engage into bdsm? I can see that it would not nearly be as interesting as "Star Trek Fantasies", "Cheating, lying kinksters" or "Romanticizing the lifestyle" I mean who would want to consider the fact that bdsm might attract a different type of individual?....Not special, not better...Just different. Maybe the people who have a hard time exactly fitting in...Unable to focus...Daydreamers? Or maybe something entirely different...Who gives a damn if there is a commonality? I will now return to my regularily scheduled moderation...Your computer is back under your control.
