ORIGINAL: LPslittleclip have you ever received news so good you forgot a previous instruction from your Dominant? this happened to me today, i wasn't trying to be disrespectful but it happened. instead of being happy with my good news M'Lady was disappointed with me for forgetting the instructions. has this happened to you? please let me know i'm not the only submissive thats done this during training. I'm not sure I really understand what happened. You got good news and were then somehow disrespectful in the course of your reaction? I can't really picture doing something He'd consider "disrespectful" because I'd gotten really good news. I can say, though, that if I got news that was THAT good, He'd put aside the disappointment He might be feeling to be happy for/with me and address His disappointment later. May not be the "domliest" reaction, but I know that's what He'd do. Seeing me that happy would take precedence over not following a protocol. Hey, if He made the rule, He can bend it[;)]. You're not the only sub to forget an instruction, so don't even imagine that you are. As I said, though, I don't really understand what you apparently did that disappointed her....................luci What she said! If my Dom didn't put aside protocol for the moment of excitement that made me thrilled, I don't think he'd be my Dom for long. And by the way, I did that the first time I talked to a particular Dom on the phone. I squealed and was talking a mile a minute, and he chuckled, "I was looking for the word 'Sir'," but it was all good. So what did I do? I said "Thank you Sir, for reminding me," and went back to talking a mile a minute and fell on my bed giggling. This is one of those places where reality and fantasy meet, I think. peace.
