Status: offline 		okay, so, if you were going to meet your master in 2 days, and it was your first play meet, and you were nervous and you ad communicated this allready, what would you do to calm your nerves?

Status: offline 		I'm sorry. That wasnt very mature and it is a sincere question. Center your self with some deep diaphramatic breathing. Close your eyes and meditate before hand. USe visualizations of calming things like sand and water and waves. Listen to some music. pet a dog, chew some gum,


or just BE.

luscious has given you some great ideas here, try them out... and remember, be friends with your fear... whatever the hell that means.

Status: offline 		Everytime i ever went out with a man i was interested in i would be nervouis, but with my Owner everything fell into place and it was if we had been together our whole lives. Which had never happened to me before.

Status: offline 		Something overlooked is that the Dominant is often more nervous than the sub.  Many Doms don't like to admit this, and subs think no way, the sub's running all the risks....  But a lady recently asked me if I'd be interested in acting out a rape fantasy (where she's the victim).  Any man play-forcing, or for-real-marking a woman in this day and age is running the risk of jail.  I think that's a *good* thing, but there needs to be an awful lot of trust on both sides -- and nobody likes to be rejected.

So he'll probably be nervous too.  You're going in as equals.  Use your common sense and you both will be fine.

Status: offline 		Don't try to stress out too much. Just try to let things flow naturaly.  If your worried about the play, make sure you have a set up safe word in effect. Those are just a few suggestions. You are going to be nervous, no getting around that im afraid.

Status: offline 		I was always nervous before meeting a prospective Dom.  Those butterflies never stopped churning... until, that is, I had looked into his eyes, smiled nervously at him, took a deep breath and allowed myself to relax.  It's just a process that I have to go through... well, *had* to go through, since I'm now happily owned!    I never was able to get rid of those darned butterflies until after we had sat down for coffee/lunch, whatever.  Remember the nerves are necessary for the path you have chosen.  While you may never embrace them, at least you can understand them and know you're not alone.  The man is just possibly as nervous as you are! 

*Edited to add ... I read your OP incorrectly.  I thought this was your first meeting with a prospective Dom, not the first play meet with your Master.  My advice stands, though... those butterflies are still going to be there.  If you're like me it's a combination of nerves, excitement and lust.     Enjoy!

okay so one, its not the first meet, its teh first PLAY meet, and even if i choose to play on the very first meet, well thats my decisionand i wouldnt be apreciative of you judging me on it

What will he do? What will I say? Will I react in a way that pleases him? Will I be able to submit gracefully? I can't wait to give up control, but it's soooo scary.

It's all part of the fun.
