Yes, it's true. The people who believe in the fairy tales think that sex is bad, and that God hates pleasure. (This, despite the fact he supposedly created the clitoris, which has no other function BUT to give pleasure. Not to mention he was also supposedly the being that gave us sex in the first place!) Most man made religions have a conception of God that is little more advanced than a stubborn, angry 4 year old. Their God is far to small and petty to be in charge of the universe that I see. (But then I'm an anstronomer, so I have a better conception of the true scale of things than most people.) Some basic questions to ask yourself: 1. Does your religion portray God as specifically male or female? (If it does, then someone is grabbing the power for themselves.) 2. Does your religion get involved in polititcs? 3. Has your religion ever tried to tell you that your shouldn't masturbate? 4. Is it centered around some charismatic leader, who's word is supposedly equal to God's? (This includes the Pope, Jim Jones, Charles Manson, L. Ron Hubbard, or John Norman or other like them.) 5. Does your religion demand that you give up part of your pay or worldly possessions, in order to be accepted, and thus be "okay" in God's eyes? If you've answered "yes" to any of these, you might want to dump it. The religion you are following is more interested in power over you than it is in teaching any kind of universal truth.
