Is it the part about being called fat that bothers them or the fact that someone would call them names just to hurt them and not care how badly or deeply it does?

That someone who has so little self  worth orrespect for themselves that they have to resort to name calling about the person's apperance.

i say no self worth or respect fort hemselves because if they had any they would realize calling people names that is undesrved is just a reflection of how they feel about themselves.
Before anyone replies, name one thin woman that has not said one time or another"Does this make me look fat?" So they do know how it feels, so there is no excuse

haven't read the whole thread, don't have the time.  i'm not attracted to any one body type, god knows i'm no playmate, so i'm not all that concerned with the outside.  clean and well kept are a must, but personality and compatibility matter most as far as anything beyond that.  male or female, didn't matter, it's the person inside that matters most.

My response is pretty much the same to the other 9999999 BBW threads.  People judge for various reasons and some of them are superificial.  That's life.  Being thin does not mean you aren't judged, we all are.  If someone judges you for something you cannot change or doesn't give you the opportunity to change, good deal, it means you miss out on a shallow person or someone that's not compatible for you, yay for you!  If you obsess and whine about it all you are doing is making yourself less attractive for other reasons that are more legitimate.  Is that really what you desire?

There is beauty all over the place from my point of view. Some real big women often have very gorgeous energy, personality and beauty. I am not heavy, and I am also not the most confident person in the world. Personally I dont wish to judge myself as less than, because my confidence level is not as high as some of my other attributes.

I understand pretty well why I am not the most confident person in the world, and I aim to gain more of my own personal power and confidence as I go along my path.

I think a lack of confidence can also be dead hot sometimes. I personally do not feel someone needs to always be confident. It is good to believe in myself and love myself, but if I am not always sure of myself, I am fine with that too as part of my process.

It would be lovely if we could all see ourselves with a bit more compassion and acceptance so we feel more alive in our own skin. I can see the attraction of women with more flesh than I have, I really get that. Ideally I would love us women to be able to love and appreciate ourselves and each other for all the unique diversity we pretty much carry around with us. I feel it is what we have to offer and can share with each other.

I feel uncomfortable when it feels like a bigger/skinny thing, like a competition or something like that.

Attitude, willing to relocate (in your case). I really don't care if you feel out of the ugly tree myself, that's pretty shallow criteria if you ask me, or maybe I just have different conception of beauty.

I do prefer somebody who is willing to at least try to get and stay fit, for health reasons if nothing else, I know some pretty large women who are at least as fit and healthy as anybody else.

I'm the first to admit that I'm "shallow".

If I find someone physically repulsive, there is no way I will get sexually intimate with them. Beyond that, the personality and intellect need to be lively, positive and creative. Being a bitch can make a ten a minus ten.

Not really. Having preferences does not make one shallow. If someone is not physically attracted to someone, I doubt any of us would become intimiate. Interesting you chose the word repulsive on this thread.

What makes one shallow is choosing the words one uses when addressing specific topics such as this particular thread.

Passive/aggressive posting is so revealing.

In light of this question, as opposed to all the BBW and size issues, I will try to answer. 
Physically, I am not entirely  sure.  The guys that I get involved with on any level run mostly dark"ish".  Dark hair, clothing, attitudes.  But I have been involved with blonds/redheads... Thin, athletic, muscular, average, a few extra pounds... I run the gambit. 
I like a macabre sense of humor on anyone.
Confidence in a submissive is very attractive to me.  People that know the world's problems aren't their fault in particular but will do their best to not make things worse. 
I do not like a "why me?" attitude.  I like the type of person that can accept they made a mistake, have a small pity party if needed, and move on to do better in life. 
I like those that are not drama queens.  Yes, we all need to vent and to bitch sometimes, but if that is all you are going to do and not live life, than it isn't attractive.
I like people that can hold an email conversation and put thought into answers. 
I don't mind shy people, but if you can't give a thought out response of more than one word or two lines to an open ended question while hiding behind a computer screen, how are  you going to deal with a real time meeting?
I like people who follow through.  If you can't do something, tell me.  Don't tell me you will/can do something and then just disappear.
People that expect one person to keep the whole relationship together annoy me.  It is not the dominant's responsibility, it is not the submissive's responsibility, it belongs to the two of them.

Ironically enough, while I tend to automatically dismiss people who use the term "u" for "you" or who say "Y/you," I find this new form "U/u" absolutely hilarious and would continue the conversation merely for amusements sake.
