Seeing that I have the reputation in the past, when I was single, being see at a variety of functions with various women, some of whom were catwalk or Photographic Models and at other times with the most outstanding BBW, I fail to see the hoorah…. A person, male or female, is beautiful within themselves. the most beautiful BBW I have known was Plain Jane to look at but sheesh what a mind and personality…. She was a stunner. What the heck... allow me to weigh in (pardon the pun) on this issue. I am a BBW and a submissive. I am not a submissive because i hate myself, and i do not have self esteem issues. As a matter of fact, i didn't discover my attraction to submission until after i had made peace with my self esteem and come to love myself for who and what i am. Granted there are some women out there who are as you described... just as there are men out there who are as others have described. Life is full of people who pretend to be something they aren't in order to feel better about themselves. It doesn't matter which group you focus on, there will be some of those people that are a part of it. People lie. Deal with it.

Hey E/veryone......the way I see it ( and this is only MY opinion ) who the heck cares what the Master/Doms/Tops and subs/slaves/bottoms look like?? if what T/they look like or do makes then feel good let them be. if deep down inside they really don't like the way they look or feel, eventually, they'll do something about it. I've only been in the lifestyle less than a year and let me tell you...I've not only learned about who I am a little but I've also learned something I feel E/everyone in or not in the lifestyle needs to learn. Tolerance and not being judgmental towards others. 3. I also said I "suspect". This means I consider my statement to be a POSSIBILITY.
4. The last part clearly states a PREFERENCE about one's SECURITY, and includes "no matter what their body-type".
It seems that SOME people only read what they want to read. I knew this post would catch a lot of flak, and if I was concerned about pleasing everyone I'd go hide in the corner and keep my mouth shut. It doesn't matter what one says, there's always going to be people who disagree or even get offended.
Here's a hypothetical question:
If you rubbed the magic lamp and the genie granted you one wish, and your choices were:
A. To have a slim, fit body
B. To remove all prejudice or stigma towards overweight people worldwide
Which would you choose? Be honest, now! (sorry, whirled peas not included in wish list :)

Ok, now this made me laugh my ass off. And fair play to you, you are right. You got your shit jumped 40 differant ways and yeah, you were just musing. But watch out how you muse about 'BBW's" ;)

Your latest question is interesting, as it assumes that a slim, fit body comes with no baggage of it's own accord; and I think that this is untrue, but I have no empirical data to base this on because frankly, I've never been slim, so I'm just musing here.

The second option implies that the only problem here is how others percieve people who are not slim/fit. Ok, so we rub the lamp and make the wish, and poof, all fat people are accepted at face value. Now what? Do we now live in a perfect world where everyone's holding hands singing Kumbaya? (I have no idea how to spell the aformentioned word and my spell checker didn't either.) I think not. I think we'll just find something else to pick at each other about.

The bottom line here is not what the world thinks; it's what individuals think. And if you are a guy who's not attracted to women who are plus sized, that's fine. A lot of subs aren't a size 8, but they are out there.

But if all you are assessing in your journey is what someone looks like, you may be missing a lot of women who may be very compatible with you as partners. It's something to consider.

as a fat bbw submissive.....i'd say maybe some of the bbw submissive lacked the needed attention as they developed, then again alot of submissives were also abused.....there's a correlation there.
Generalising anything is a bad idea.
Anything can be generalised..but i've found in life and more pronounced, in this venue(the "life-style") that people all have different reasons and motivations and needs, physically, emotionally and mentally...trying to say bbw submissives are motivated by their body-size and related mental hang-ups, is like saying well...i dont know what, but it's incorrent anyhow:P

I would choose A, because it's my desire to be skinny again. Before I went into allt hose shitty group "homes" who didn't care about the kids I was skinny very cute and I was fit. I still feel cute, but I am sure not fit any more, nor am I skinny.

It'd be nicer if every one was kinder to fat peple all over, every person infact, but really if a person has objections to the way their body looks it's up to them not the world to do something about it or be kind about it. that's not to say people shouldn't keep shut if they don't have anything positive to say about the looks of others, they should. But I see it as a personal problem not a "society" for adult people over weight to loose maintain be happy or do what ever they need to do.

Is anyone fully confident? For instance, I am a size 8, think I look better at a six, wish my abs were a tad tighter and my c cup breasts fuller.

Here in the NY metro area, at least: there's always someone better. At my gym, so many have tummy tucks, breast implants on and on. I could "buy" my way towards "perfect"... but when would it ever end?

i have no "outter" traits -- apart from finding Him sexually appealing -- on my profile but i have PLENTY of character traits that are "must haves"; and i for one need/want a small to average sized cock inasmuch as i fit better -- being small myself.
