Ever notice how many submissive women are BBW's? I wonder if it's really low self-esteem as a result of being unhappy with their bodies that drives their "submissive" desires. To me, this not true submissive nature, and I suspect that many of them would not be seeking the bottom role if they had a better opinion of themselves. I think that's why there is so much insecurity and emotional baggage that seems to go with dealing with BBW "slaves". Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting anyone down, but personally, I prefer my slave(s) to be secure in their desire to be dominated, no matter what their body-type is. Know thyself, slaves.

Is it satire? Is it provocation? Is it genuine newness? Only the BitchMaster knows... Honestly, I don't see why it is always female subs being picked on for being fat. Look at the male Doms/Masters here. Most of them are little tubs of goo - I can't see how you can single out just women. My personal estimate is that there are a lot of good looking chiquitas out there hankering for someone to to take 'em, and a real dearth of uber hot, powerfully built guys in BDSM. Maybe the really fit, good looking guys are secure in their sexuality, and it is the flabby little girly-men and scrawny little weaklings who need to dom - they don't have a "true dominant nature and would not seek out the top role if they had better opinion of themselves." An alternate theory would be that thin submissive were that way because they have " really low self-esteem as a result of being unhappy with their bodies that drives their 'submissive' desires" and therefore starved themselves. Funny how the same words can be use in both instances. Maybe the problem really is overgeneralization.

Actually, Faramir-wanna-be-lord of the rings-dude, I have thought of that, and found your way of thinking to be rather shallow and limited. If you had been less reactionary when you read my post, you may of realised that I wasn't "picking on" anyone, just opening a rather sensitve topic for intelligent discussion. There will always be people (like you) who only see the surface and not the depth. Try exercising your mind as well as your muscles (if that is really your pic).

I have to agree size has nothing to do with submissive or Dominant. Though believe me I have received some interesting emails. I had one Dominant tell me that if I was his I would be placed on a strict diet to ensure I would stay slender. Now, I really do not have an issue with maintaining my weight. I do however find that I would be made to do so by a Dominant that was almost 100 lbs over his own weight. Makes one ponder if the control the Dominant sought over another shouldn't have been perhaps applied to oneself. I personally am attracted to men with more size than myself. Perhaps it is a sense of security I really do not know but we all have things we find attractive in another. Though will say the mind is the first draw for me, and then the physical trait that appeals to me most is the eyes. I also have to agree with John Warren that some of my own size is self esteem oriented. I have had issues in the past with food and while some may not understand it my own body issues. Does that make me any less submissive, no I do not think so. Just means like everyone I have my own areas of insecurities that I have had to work on. Harmony

1. Diversity is the spice of life. 2. Know thyself is good advice for everyone, and is probably best not issued as an order delivered to all slaves from someone they do not know. 3. I am definitely a BBW, and I am NOT a submissive, (laughs typing). So, maybe it's not the fact that submissives are bbw's or dommes are bbw's, but maybe, as a whole,l the population's clothes sizes are slowly increasing over time. granted, by no means is the whole population getting larger, but statistically, the population is getting larger (pun intended...) They increased the ideal weight numbers for insurance companies years ago, what does that tell ya????

Aha. I appreciate the info. I am new to this site, but definitely not new to the lifestyle. Let me also point out that I don't have anything against BBW's, and I enjoy a sexy, full-figured woman as much as I do a sexy, slim and petite one. My focus was basically to open up a discussion on the emotional and psychological motives of submissive women. I chose women as an example simply because women are all I've had experience with. And I chose BBW's because I've had personal and intimate discussions with several rubenesque ladies who have expressed their insecurites due to their bodies. I've also known large women who were perfectly happy with their weight and even considered it to be an asset, and rightly so. No matter how you take it, my original post succeeded in opening up quite a spirited discussion and I appreciate all the replies, pro and con.....
