You're correct in your point that someone out there seems to be interested iwearpanties.

Here are a few Google search results on various terms....

Feminization:114,000
Transvestite:205,000
Transgender:589,000
Shemale:1,826,000

For some context, some terms familiar to us on this forum....

Female Supremacy:90,900
Female Domination:159,000
Femdom:431,000
Mistress:1,290,000

I'm not making any point with those numbers, but that's what I found out there.

Someone indeed is looking, finding, building sites, writing, etc, etc, etc

AllforFun -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/19/2008 6:42:10 AM)

I may get slammed for this, but im going to shoot anyway. Feel free to shout bollocks.

In my opinion there is an explantation for this behavior. I think that mother nature tries to keep the male side of our species strong if possible. I think it is in our nature (males) to weed out the weak among us and admire the strong. Kind of like  the classical scenario of the nerd being picked on until he makes a discovery that gives him the upper hand. I think thats why masculine gays dont bother men as much as feminine gays, they are seen as strong and taking what they want. Overall,  Its just a primal urge to purify ourselves.

That being said, I also believe that we have evolved beyond our primal hold overs and need to get OVER IT! lol.
Threatening someones life over something like CD is STUPID!

Anyway, Allforfun OUT!

SolangeRichards -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/19/2008 6:47:08 AM)

Interesting idea about men purifying themselves by stamping out the feminine AllforFun.

Ever consider the notion that the feminine male may be the vanguard for a newer, stronger human being who will displace the outmoded, one dimensional machismo worshipping male?

diaperedbaby -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/19/2008 7:55:01 AM)

That might be possible. I love my sissy play when it is play time, but in the day to day business world I am more of a commanding bitch. It is nice to hand that control over to someone else at the end of the day.
It is sad of the intolerance some have. I think part of that is how one portrays themselves to others.

i'll be honest, i am generally intolerant of "sissy boys" or any overtly effeminate men in my company.  i can handle convincing tg's, tv's and ts's with no problem; masculine gay men are perfectly fine in my book.  i have no problem seeing male lovers being affectionate with one another; and can even carry on a sexual conversation about both ends of the spectrum.  i also admit to a great number of feminine aspects to my own personality.

So why do i have problems with "sissy boys" and "flaming queens"?  i don't know, maybe it's the juxtaposition of masculine and feminine in one person; but then why do i find butch women and tomboys attractive?  Now, i don't think i bully anyone; and i am, in fact, very polite when i am in the presence of these feminine men.  But i will avoid being around one as best i can, and cannot imagine myself actually pursuing a friendship with them.

Well, yaknow, I have to say being around sissies is the pits but not as bad as being around cross-dressers, however. I would venture to say that I think they do it to punish themselves and they want to demasculate themselves. It's a self-inflicted wound they keep on scratching. It's just plain wierd. There's something I have to say VERY different about men who like to dress up. Yes, I think they hate themselves and its their punishment.

clouds, I've been thinking about this question to myself and I just have to ask,

do sissies ever get jealous of REAL women? I personally would wager to say yes.

SolangeRichards -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/19/2008 11:31:58 AM)

I choked up my cosmopolitan when I read the word "demasculate" in your post!

The term you were thinking of is "emasculate".......

Xmen1 -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/19/2008 11:35:45 AM)

Sissy boy seems to be more of a fetish. While cross dresser have more passion to live female or go further.Having been exposed to both theirs a vast difference. If a sub/slv male has a yearning to continue to dress after he's forced to cum. This leads me to believe this person maybe a female inside.  "You knew the job was dangerous when you took it"

i believe it's naive to think that we have evolved out of our primal state; really, just look around and see that we are more like the beasts of the earth than the enlightened evolved humans that we like to believe we are

looks around for all the one-dimensional males... glad i don't live in your neck of the woods; even bigoted assholes around here are more complex than what you apparently see in New Hampshire

SubmissiveAK -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/19/2008 1:10:11 PM)

I know bigotry, I think most of us have known it in some form or fashion.

Homophobia, or genderphobia, is still rampant in my experience. In some ways its even grown worse... since now its a lot more socially acceptable to be a gay/metrosexual (how that term got started, I dont know)/etc... but its totally unacceptable for a male to be feminine. People dont understand TG, and they REALLY dont understand sissies, so they recoil from it. Chalk it up to fearing/hating something you dont understand.

I try to break these feelings in myself. I dont understand sissies, but instead of recoiling and finding them disgusting... I am trying to learn more about it and understand it... even though it may not be "my thing" personally

This is a good discussion.  I have my own opinion.  I think that there are plenty of "straight" males that have had "dirty" thoughts about being with a crossdresser or transgendered partner.  For evidence, look at all the "m4t" ads on personals sites like Craigslist.  And, also in my opinion and experience, guys who have thoughts about being WITH a tg or cd have also in many (most ?) cases tried on female clothing at some point themselves, and are probably "ashamed" of that because that endangers their image that they themselves are straight -- they probably fear at least a little bit that they are NOT straight themselves.  And this fear and shame that they aren't straight is translated into (I guess a psychologist would say is transferred to) loathing other guys who openly are effeminate or who wear feminine clothes.

Just my opinion.

I personally wager that you are one of the people who hates sissies.  You make no secret of it in other threads

What intrigues me is why.  What sample size of the "evil, selfish, self hating" sissies do you base your prejudice on? One who was nasty to you?  2? 3?  None, but you know you would hate one if you met one?  Are your opinions based on nothing more than email?

Why are you so threatened by this kink?  Why don't you just ignore it?

As a little girl, did your parents and church in Maryland teach you to hate homosexuals, especially effeminate ones, and your open intolerance is their ugly legacy?

I have known about 6 sissies really well in real life and cannot say that any of them were anything like the sissies in Maryland that you post about.

But perhaps sissies are nice to me because I accept everyone's right to alternative (consensual) sexuality and look beyond anyone's fetish to work out if they are a good human being.

Perhaps sissies are hostile to you because you are hostile to them first (assuming you have actually met any sissies)

But to answer your question, I personally wager that a lot of women who are - ahem -  less than attractive and secure, feel jealous of sissies.   Not the other way around.  Sissies tend to be straight and attracted to women.  Imitation is a form of flattery.

I have however met gay Drag Queens who felt threatened and were openly rude to me. I would say they (men trying to attract men by looking like sexy women) can be jealous of pretty biological women.  But not all.  But sissies jealous?  Not in my experience.  They love women and just want to be like them.

Sissies in many ways parody/lampoon feminity by exaggerating it to the extreme.   Why feel threatened by such comic gender bending?  Its funny.

Why not just say "its not my kink, but I respect the rights of other people to be sissies and  - like the OP - love sissies and good luck to them.  I hope they find happiness".

Attaching "phobia" to a word is simply just a slam.  Phobia means an irrational"fear".  What is it that there is to fear?   Catching cooties? :) I wish there was a suffix one could add to a word that means "I just don't give a shit".

OMG!  Worse than the pits!  You are so brave; you've dared enter the seventh circle of hell once again to tell us how much you abhor men who don't fit your personal gender and dress conventions.

We get it now; CDs, sissies, dare I say any non-manly-man are far from your cup of tea.

What I don't get, is why you need to keep telling us this.  You're not contributing anything to the discussion.  I'd like to think that you're not doing this just to make CDs feel worse about themselves, but the benefit of the doubt only goes so far.

spiritd1 -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/20/2008 12:26:19 AM)

This reply is  directed towards LadyClaudiaVan and other supporters. I think you have no business involivng yourselves in this lifestyle. I say this as we all have many different kinks and lives and should be given the oppurtunity to live them as we   feel. I do not always care or want to parttake in some of the things other do or like  but I will never put them down for it, as you seem to like to do. Hate is a very serious word and why would you hate something that you don't have to deal with? If you don't like sissies or enfem men then please just say that it is not for you and go on, don't condem them and make them feel inferior. Everyone in this lifestyle has to decide how to deal with their lives, some come out and publically and admit   it , others don't want to be out and others because of family, friends or other reasons decide to keep it to a small group of friends. I am a male (not that I am proud of it)  that has felt I should have been a female and because of family I can only live it part time and should not be hated because I feel this way. I am 59 and have for as long as I can remember I felt I should be a female, should I be hated because I want to live as I feel I should be, when I can. We all have feelings and to feel complete we need to act on them and not have people like you putting us down and hating us for how we feel. Is this not a lifestyle for us to live out our lives as we think they should be and not be hated for it?  I am sorry I don't mean to comment like this but it just inferiated my to hear someone say they HATE someone for the lifestyle they feel they need to lead or want. We have hard enough time dealing with the vanilla people leaving us alone, lets not condem ourselves from within.

diaperedbaby -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/20/2008 6:16:26 AM)

LadyClaudiaVan

Oh dear, I really have to question your posts. I think every one gets you hate the CD/TG crowd. That is fine, but I question why? It seems to be based on a lot of inaccurate experiences, or you hit the winning lottery ticket for meeting terrible sissies as you say. I question that you actually met six of them, and they were all bad. Maybe they were more demanding because you were charging for a service? Dunno. With your dislike for them, I can't imagine you have interacted with them in a social setting.

Additionally, the idea that we enjoy this lifestyle as some sort of self punishment is way out there. Where do you get that from? I can't speak for everyone, but I hardly enjoy my lifestyle as self punishment. You need to get out more.

Lastly, as far as jelousy towards women? Haven't seen it. More the other way around. I have found some women alittle intimidated when I am fully dressed and might appear more attractive physically than they do and you talk to their mate. Not really any different than anyone having some insecurities when they don't know what to expect.
I am very passable so if they don't know me, they feel alittle more threatened.
In just about every experience they warm up when they find I am not interested in their mate and I am actually a guy. Again, your experiences might be based on the context in which you are meeting others and under what circumstances.
If you come off negative, that is likely how one will respond back. Don't embrace our lifestyle, (can't imagine you would), but be alittle open minded. You might be surprised. Since I am very passable, you may have already encoutered me, and you likely didn't even know it. You know what they say about that word "assume"

Dari -> RE: attitudes in general towards sissyboys (1/20/2008 6:35:54 AM)

What I don't understand is why people have time to hate anyway?  I'm too damn busy with things and people I enjoy to bother actively being horrible to people whose lifestyle doesn't fit my preferences.

As for those who receive hate mail?  Some people are horrible, and their lack of humanity really shouldn't bother those who receive messages filled with vitriol.  Go have fun with your life, live it as best you can, and enjoy the people you meet that are wonderful.  Treasure the good, and the bad just doesn't seem to matter so much.
