alandraofMists -> What do you look forward to? (1/18/2008 10:07:06 PM)

It has been just over a month since Kyra has moved in. It has been a busy time with the holidays, but also one of fufillment and contentment in knowing that the family is all together at last. I personally find the little things that bring me the most contentment with the relationship.

Working in the House together even if we are working in different rooms, a kiss good bye in the mornings, talking at the supper table about everyones day, relaxing at the end of the day in bed, and falling asleep listening my Lord and Kyra talking.

These are just a few things that i look forward to within the relationship. What are some things that you look forward to daily in your relationship?

Walking in the door.  Best part of every day is when we see eachother again after being apart working.

The cuddle and tummy rub right before we go to sleep.

We are not 24/7 yet....So, for now it's the sound of my email when He's written me...Or the feeling i get deep inside when my cell phone rings and his name is running across my screen...When i'm with Him however it's the touch of his hands...It's the way He holds me....It's the way He rubs my forehead when i'm sad or crying......

greetings alandra,

i have always loved reading yours, knight's, and kyra's posts, and it was wonderful to read recently that kyra was finally able to move in. i am so happy for you three :)

we do not live together, so for us our daily ritual is a phone call. i look forward to it very much, though, even though it's often only for a few minutes. during our time together, i look forward to the little things - beating him at cards ;), doing crossword puzzles together, falling asleep while he watches tv because i'm so relaxed when i am around him. morning snuggles are also now very much anticipated...they're a new phenomenon and don't always happen, but they are so much fun when they do. oh! and him making me toast in the morning. that's practically a ritual at this point.

respectfully,
annabelle.

They are not the external realities but my internal thoughts about Him which no one else is party to......

spanklette -> RE: What do you look forward to? (1/19/2008 1:11:21 AM)

This probably isn't the norm, but my Daddy brings me coffee in the morning...it's the best thing ever. Mornings aren't my high point, but when I smell my coffee coming up the stairs...I can't help but smile.

I notice that a few people lok forwad to the SO arriving home, but when He gets home it's hectic and it drives me insane...I definitely look forward to the quiet, peaceful moments together, but I could do without the actual "arrival" part of the show. But, I guess to enjoy the rest, I should let Him in the door. [:D]

alandra nice new pic!  In any relationship I look forward to the days that I am struggling and he knows it without me saying anything and knows how to lift me up.

Rigth now I am with out girl. But when my previous girl was still in LA ( I am in Holland, so time zone prob) I loved the sound that waked my up at midnight.
It was the sound from a yahoo message popping up. I could sleep so deep, this faint sound woke me up.
And ofcourse, sms, mails etc

When she was with me, waking up..with her hair in my mouth  lol.....knowing she was there then :P Or fidn an hair of her on my cloths.
She was always close. And I am a love a squeezy hug.

i'm looking forward to many things when we finally move in together but while he's here visiting, i  love waking up or going to bed with a kiss, making his coffee (though i don't have to), feeling his arms around me while i'm cooking and getting lost in his blue eyes as we snuggle on the couch.

Justme696 -> RE: What do you look forward to? (1/19/2008 7:13:16 AM)

Little things can be special. even when you don't notice them first.  (they become missed when they stop)

My girl didn't live with me. But I visited her often..and when I left...stept in the car. I always found a small box with candy in my pocket. A little thing...but to me it meant more then anything.
On the way back..she was with me then.
I still have one of those boxes in my car.

Hello Alandra

I love the arrivals - when I or he walk through the door.

Asking if he would desire more coffee.
The text messages he enjoys to send.
The kiss before we sleep.
Most of all I look forward to the waking in the morning.  I also enjoy the middle of the night - as I am a light sleeper and often awake and just find it amazing to lay there and watch him sleep.  It's beautiful.
And I look forward to the - 'I love you HUGE' - that he tells me every day.

Our regards to your Master, Kyra and yourself.

Well for starters...a relationship[sm=boohoo.gif]But seriously...i think it's the little things like those you decribed...maybe in my case, with one less person(smile and hugs)but we're all the same.  It's the home from work, or talking over dinner, or reading the Sunday paper moments that make relationships strong...all the other stuff is just spice.  But gosh...love the spice....

TysGalilah -> RE: What do you look forward to? (1/19/2008 8:03:43 AM)

Alandra
Your post was beautiful to read.

(These are just a few things that i look forward to within the relationship. What are some things that you look forward to daily in your relationship?  )

...for me the answer would be
another thankful day being Tysons submissive and all that brings with it.  We are 3000 miles away from one another right now..and so sometimes it is his voice, his calm, his laughter, the hunger in his voice that make my day.  He seems to touch everything I do, even when I am not in his presence..

I understand what you mean about " the daily things"...
We are still holding onto the days we created last month when I was in Arizona for the holiday.  The special lunch out...the casual strolling through the mall together, walking hand in hand and the warm embraces, listening to each other talk about all the sights and scenery around us >  are what we find is making the distance "doable" for us right now..
The "whips and chains" can stir the blood, yes   but what sustains me right now and stirs my heart is just the simple pleasures of being his.

Thanks for this thread and for sharing that.

smiles
Cyndi

I enjoy our night time ritual of Master and I doing nose rubs and three kisses on his lips before we snuggle down and I fall asleep holding his hand. I also get a kick out of watching him sleep when I first wake up...even after three years his soft snoring has become something cute for me to listen to and it puts a smile on my face. Master looks forward to Sunday dinners of tradtional baked chicken and Saturdays when I bake oldfashioned grandmom style bread for the week...He also likes the cranberry rose soap I use that we get from the sunfeather factory near us.

I look forward to time together, walking and holding hands. Things that make us laugh together. Watching Dirty Jobs while eating dinner on the floor in front of the couch. Getting tucked into bed.
