My lifelong commitment to Otis and Daisy will never be trumped by ANY person or thing. Also, I would not have a relationship with someone who was willing to bail on her pets. I have just the two kitties, and am trying to keep it to two to allow for the possibility that, when I finally find the 'one' she might have critters in her life and we'll need to fit everybody into the new household.

People who make snarky remarks about guinea pigs are RIGHT OUT. I don't expect them to adore my animal companions, but they had better be nice about them. Or else they get to scrub the parrot's cage.

Hell no. If he were the "right" one, pets wouldn't be an issue. I give my loved ones up for no one. Period.

Can't imagine someone being so cruel to expect a persont to give up their family. I wouldn't ever choose to be in a relationship with such a person. On the other hand, I wouldn't choose to be in a relationship with someone that owned 12 cats either.

Personally i would ahve to say that i will not give up my pet , i love my pet and they love me to some of there sences are far greater than ours and they do help ya even when u think they are just a pain in the butt . A pet is a good friend when u need one to chat with and not get a answer hehheehhe but it would be a hard choice on giving up a good friend like that
