i like quiet and dark but total sensory dep would not suit me at all. iv been in some situations where it was nearly that in combat and time stretches out and even if no incident occurs it lingers for a long time afterward. as far as the cave experiment a female caver did the same thing and her internal clock went to a 25 hr day she had trouble reintegrating to society. she committed suicide 6 month after the experiment.
i would caution any contemplating this kind of play to research it and discuss with all involved beforehand as it can have long lasting undesired effects.
