Mistress squeaks when She laughs hard, and I mean squeaks!  It sounds like She's on the verge of hyperventilating.  It is so cute, though.  That is probably my favorite.[:D]

I tend to snort when I laugh hard.  I almost sound like a spastic Steve Urkel.  That's not all, though.  If I'm laughing hard and snorting, chances are I'm gonna be fartin', too!  It sounds like I'm reving up a Harley...LOL.[:D]  Laughing leads to snorting, snorting leads to fartin', fartin' leads to more laughing and snorting.  It's a vicious cycle.

hmm... wonder what it would sound like if I got ya both laughing at the same time.... [:D]

MistressFaye1 -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/22/2008 6:16:07 PM)

I snore... Loud!  One would stay awake half the night until he got use to it.  Actually it's getting worse as I get older and everyone to include family beg to be allowed to go to sleep first.  One said the snoring made him feel as if I was relaxed enough and happy enough to fall into a deep, relaxed sleep.

*Sleep apnea has been ruled out*   Smile!

Well, my embarrassment stems from the fact that I possess a very large penis.
(not bragging here by any means you understand, as it can be troublesome)

A simple jaunt into the public sector entails an ensemble of proper planning
that I might mingle among them without the stares, laughter and taunts most
often reserved for those with rhinestone studded hip huggers, as they sashay
with sweatered chihuahua on sequined leash. Oh the humanity.

Most times I mask my curse by wrapping my penis in an upward spiral around
my torso, a quick loop around one shoulder with the remainder lain across the
upper back coming to rest on the opposite shoulder. Cumbersome, but viable.

A surprising but welcome benefit of this particular masquerade, is the appearance
of a much larger and more developed physique. Though it can be a double-edged
sword as I garner smiles and winks from total strangers and passersby. This can
become a predicament when a rather attractive member of tellable Dominance
raises that commanding eyebrow arch of "come hither oh submissive one".

The immediate effect of sudden attraction and surrender pulses quickly to my
loins and the ensuing hulk-like transformation rises up from my groin, racing
unbridled as trembling threads tear at weakened seams. Bulging buttons strain
against the deafening screams of breathless, resistant fabric. And there, there
upon the innocent shoulders of a man with a shuddering secret, lies the beast.

Oh yes, it is how your mind reflects it. I become the bearer of shoulder pads.
That much maligned fashion faux pas which accompained the high hair of the
eighties. Nary a care, except "are they square"? And she was, a maneater.

For those of you too young to remember.............don't.

There it is, the bane of my existence, an organ of embarrassment. Yet lovingly
and sweetly paralleled with those whom find shoulder pads quite endearing.
And somehow nothing else really matters, because just like Bruce was then,
I'm still dancing in the dark.

I dance like a complete spaz when I'm moving for my own enjoyment. This came as a bit of a shock to my boy when he first saw it, as he knew me as a graceful professional bellydancer. He was making breakfast for me one morning and a great song came on the box and the next thing he knows, his Goddess has been transformed into Elaine Benes.

I tend to use words other people don't know (a result of voracious reading). Then I have to define them. One group of friends will never forget what the word "minutiae" means. I just used it because it was the most appropriate word for the point I was trying to make. The blank stares of everyone else, coupled with the sudden silence, told me I'd best go into dictionary mode.

Oh - yes. Minutiae means nit-picky little details.

When did having a prodigious vocabulary become an egregious offense? I assure you there are more than a scant few kindred spirits who enjoy amity, or even ardor, with erudite bibliophiles. I, for instance, consider myself quite sapiosexual.

(And, yes, I did cheat and use the thesaurus on my computer... a bit.)

I blush easily.  People find it cute.  I find it horribly embarrassing

~Fast Reply~

I've been told my stutter, which embaresses me horribly, is endearing.

peterK50 -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/23/2008 6:54:45 AM)

If I watch football or baseball on TV I tense my body with the snap or pitch. I'm exhausted at the end of a game as if I played in it. If i'm sitting in the leather chair the creeking drives other people crazy.

If you get both of us laughing at the same time, it will sound like a "War of the Bikes"...a Japanese crotch rocket against the backdrop of an American Harley.

So, what is your embarassing, yet endearing character trait, geoff?  [;)]

When I am alone, I talk to my dogs. Not like normal people talk to their dogs, mind you, but I have conversations with them, like they are people. Occasionally I've had the misfortune of having someone walk in on me or overhear. Of course, then there is the obvious question, "Who are you talking to?" Honestly, sometimes there is no good answer.

You'd be surprised how many "normal" people talk to their dogs as if they are people.

Thankfully, dogs are an amazingly tolerant species, and rarely object.

I'm a complete nerd.  [:D]

Now see, I don't think that's anythign to be embarassed about. [;)]

Mine: I coo and purr and growl and bark, just in normal day-to-day. It's subtle and I can keep it in check a bit when required, but still a "*cooo*" or a "*mrrow*" will come out instead of a "Yes" sometimes.

That's super cute.

Blushing and squirming are also cute and a major turn-on. As for endearing quirks... hmmm... I don't know about endearing but many friends think my sneeze is a riot. Nine times out of ten I try to control it and it ends up sounding like what many have called a "mouse sneeze".

LadyLynx -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/23/2008 9:52:41 PM)

I blush too.  especially at compliments.  every guy I meet loves coming up with ways to make me blush. which drives me crazy.

I have been told my sneeze sounds cute, high pitch 100 miles an hour sneeze.

YesMistressIrish -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/24/2008 1:34:56 AM)

Sapiosexuality: Count me in!

Long Dong Silver: funny man!

All of you and your traits: Very interesting and thought provoking, and memory stirring....

My Endearing traits: I like to make everything humorous, especially when stress hits, and last month while doing an interrogation and pain scene...all my questions seemed to be very funny, and my sub's answers were also funny, so we belly laughed our way through it all. I also snort a little when I laugh sometimes (varoom baby!) [8D]
and dance whenever I feel like it. That might embarrass other people.

I have this 'cute' thing. I guess it is a childlike quality, and I notice everything: That unusual color, that look on her face...

I enjoy sitting anywhere and people watching. One wonderful memory is sitting half way down the ski slope at the lodge, right near the spot where skiers were stopping to rest or shooshing by, and entertaining my mom while making up all kinds of weird and kinky life stories about colorful people. Had her in stiches.

TammyJo: I have 7 more pages to read on the second book you sent. Great reading! I read your books for a solid 4 hrs today while it rained and thundered outside, cacooned in my safe haven. You inspire me. Thanks!

Irish

Something I forgot: I do the same thing with songs mentioned above. Say a few words and I start humming the tune and singing the words. I am a closet singer, but I sing in the shower... [:D]

My shoes - embarassing how many :)

christine1 -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/25/2008 5:41:18 PM)

i think mine is that i laugh the hardest at my jokes...i think i'm much more funny than other people do. i have an interesting sense of humor, few people recognize and appreciate it, but at least there are some that do.

Sunnyfey -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/25/2008 5:51:15 PM)

I snort when I laugh...im about 5'7 and 105lbs so people find this hilarious
I sneeze hard enough to knock myself over sometimes
Im a complete klutz even though I'm a bellydancer...seems im only not retarded when i dance
i apparently hold on to the lobe of my right ear when im thinking very very hard about something, which never fails to make Sir giggle like a little girl....which he dose ahaha

sweetsub1986 -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/25/2008 6:06:01 PM)

I purr alot...sometimes without even relizing it.

HelenaTroy -> RE: So, what's YOUR embarassing yet endearing character trait? (1/26/2008 11:22:55 AM)

I love it when people use large words, or more specifically, ill-oft used words and terms. If you have to look them up in a thesaurus it ruins it. Hearing you pull it out of thin air is the appeal for me! I'm a nerd in that I get joy out of looking up words in a dictionary and reading every line of the definition, especially the etymology and past forms of the word.

But my most embarrassing character flaw is my desire to do absolutely nothing to my appearance whatsoever unless I'm leaving the house to go someplace fancier than the grocery store or post office. People think I'm a different person when they see me in this state (which helps with the anonymity in case I run into someone I know!).

Mine is that one does not have to look down below to know that I am a real blonde. Some friends now call the things I say, "jenisms".
