It seems to me the OP could draw a cogent conclusion from all the posts here (and I think it has been said in so many words): People here don't want to share their deep dark secrets with strangers any more than people in any other group want to share them. That is, if he's still on CM. His latest journal seemed to indicate he was quitting. Going off in a Huff? Aren't Huffs expensive forms of transportation?

There are lots of different kinds of people here with different comfort zones. Some bare their souls to give others insight. Some share their problems and look for advice. Some look for confirmation and dont like it when you dont tell them what they want to hear. Some share their issues and give advice, some give advice, but never share their own problems. Some sit in judgement, some in compassion. Sometimes the seemingly meanest ones are giving you the cold hard truth and you just dont want to hear it. Its interesting, thought provoking and often time incredibly funny. " you take the good, you take the bad and when you go you know you've learned the facts of life" And sometimes nerdy girls will have you singing the opening song of dorky old shows [:D]
