BLASPHEMY!!!

You may be the God of Cookiedom... BUT I AM THE GODDESS OF GRAMMAR!!!!

Do not anger me with your dangling participles and prepositions at the end of the sentence!

I will blast YOU oh Cookie God with a stream of interrogatives and imperatives that will make that hair of yours curl to tight masses.

Oh wonderful and great cookie god....

What is the ultimate cookie recipe for someone who cant have flour, eggs, milk, or chocolate? I miss cookies.

May the cookie god bless, and ghita enjoy, these humble offerings:

NO FLOUR OATMEAL COOKIES
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening (not oil)
1 c. crunch peanut butter
2 eggs (use substitute)
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. oatmeal

Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs, peanut butter and rest of ingredients. Make into balls and press down. Bake in 350 degree oven.
MONSTER COOKIES (No Flour)
6 eggs (use substitute)
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
2 sticks butter
9 c. oatmeal
4 tsp. soda
3 c. peanut butter
6 oz. nuts or Reeses Pieces...heck, use both

Mix all. Drop by tablespoon far apart. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.  Salted Cashew-Crunch Cookies 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg (surely you know the drill by now)
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats, ground for 30 seconds in a food processor
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups salted coarsely chopped cashews
extra-fine salt (I used the Diamond Crystal brand for this)

Preheat oven to 350

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg until combined and then mix in vanilla.

In a medium bowl, whisk together ground oats, salt and baking powder. Add to the creamed mixture and stir just until combined. Fold in the cashews.

Using a tablespoon cookie scoop, drop the dough onto parchment lined baking sheets. Sprinkle each ball of dough with a light coated of extra-fine salt. Use your fingers to gently flatten the dough to about 3/8" thick.

Bake until the cookies are light golden, about 12 to 14 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet.

No Flour, No Sugar, Almond Cookies

1 1/4 cups almond meal / flour (ground almonds)
1 cup Splenda (or other sugar substitute that you can bake with)
1 egg (same song, different recipe)
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter -- softened
1/8 cup Splenda crush for dusting

Preheat oven to 350°F-180°C.
Mix almond flour with Splenda, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon, sifting until well mixed.
In a separate bowl, lightly beat egg and then mix well with extracts and softened butter.
Add to dry ingredients and mix really well.
Form dough into 24 small balls and space evenly on two ungreased cookie sheets (most cookie sheets will hold 12 cookies - 4 rows of three - very evenly.) Press moderately to flatten to a silver-dollar pancake size. If you choose, sprinkle liberally with granulated splenda , just as you would traditional "sugar" cookies.
Bake for approximately 8 minutes at 350°F-180°C.
They will slide right off the cookie sheet.
Cool 5 minutes before eating.

Gotta have cookies-
Grace

I ask the God of Cookiedom, in all his expertise, if there is a decent recipie for a cookie which combines the sensual taste of chocolate with the tangy flavour of orange. If such a recipie exists, where could I get a copy?
