Trying to figure out yourself by understanding labels is never going to work. Understand yourself period. Labels are useful tools to broadly describe yourself. While most of us can't agree on what a label means, most of us would agree that someone who identifies as a bottom is going to be fairly different than a slave.

But try this on for size.

I consider myself a dominant who identifies with the daddy role. My partner is a female dominant who has submissives of her own, she is my only partner. She submits to be but I rarely do any sort of age play but call her my "little girl" all the time. She wants to do things for me I am not ready to recieve/wrap my head around. She is by far the most submissive (but then again I have grown as a dominant) partner I have ever had although many would look at us and see equals, her submission is profound and amazes me. We do not live together and when we go out into the scene where she lives, she goes as a dominant, when we go out to the scene where I live she goes as my submissive. She loves being "my good little girl" but is as willful a woman as could be.

Anyway, I am rambling but what we have, and many many others have, are relationships that work exactly how WE want, custom built to fullfil both of us. If I wanted to be forced into a box, I could do that in the vanilla world, I come here to be FREE of all that.

So, explore what you want, open yourself up to that AND your partner and who knows, he may surprise you. It is always sad when people secretly long for another to do this or that rather than simply say "hey, it would be hot if you would tie me to the foot of the bed, pee on me and then call me master and beg to serve me while wearing a pink dress while Blazing Saddles plays on TV"

i am a submissive to my M'Lady and for the most part i am service oriented my spouse wont allow coitus but oral and anal are OK. this is just how it works for me and my dynamic you need to find what works for you not a label. i wish you well in your search for your place.

LA - I like your categories, but I'd add pain to your list, probably. Since none of the others have to include pain, I'd think of it as another subset.

i consider myself a daddy's girl. As the other's have said before me, only you and your partner can define your realtionship, however, i can tell you why i'm considered a daddy's girl.

Besides calling Him Daddy, he considers me His daughter. Expected, no? my Daddy loves to spoil me. He and i have the same relationship any father-daughter would, only sex ect...is included. When i don't get my way, i tend to pout and if i'm mad enough, i'll throw a hissy fit. Daddy either indulges my whim, or punishes me. Whippings, getting grounded, having my things taken away...you know the drill. I feel that if my Daddy bought them for me, he should have the right to take it away. Not the exact same mind-set as a real child, but it's how i feel. We even watch cartoons together (and adult things, but Daddy likes cartoons). He always tucks me in when it's my bed time, and if i ask nicely, or beg, whichever, then He might tell me a story. i have to ask for everthing i want (or need) and if i don't get it, i tend to pout or just get over it. Typical childish behavior.

Nothing makes you feel more special than curling up to your Dom on the sofa, or having them play in your hair....*sigh* I miss my Daddy...*pouts* Now you've done it! lol

Alot ot people are combinations of some of the things you've described.

i am a submissive, service oriented slave, Daddy's girl slut...i have some say in some little things in day to day life, but he has final say....sexually, or service wise, i have no choice and i prefer it that way.... i love to serve, love sex and being a slut, i love being my Daddy's lil girl and in my soul i am a slave.

Be yourself, and to hell with trying to be this or that kind of submissive. Any dominant who cannot take you as you are should not attempt to take you at all.

i suppose i relate the most to the being a "bottom" term. but again, labels, labels, labels and they mean different things to different people. i've heard bottom used to mean someone that enjoys serving and being used, sexually (as well as some kinds of pain, humiliation, etc.) but a label is just a label

i prefer to have an open, honest exchange of interests (kink and vanilla) with One, if there is chemistry there, and overlaping interests that together, will bring U/us both to new levels of pleasure and excitement, then sounds like a match. over time, as the relationship between U/us both grows, i would anticapate more sub interests to come into play as knowledge of E/each other's interests, and trust builds up.
